Leia, fighter pilot
Marvel Star Wars issue #68 "The Search Begins," art by Gene Day and Tom Palmer. I love that the page's narration is a recap of some of the more damselly elements of her story, but the foreground is this badass visual. I think not many authors know that she can do this, get behind the joystick of a starfighter. She should get put there more often.
Shitsappeal is a myth, like the Yeti
or his North American cousin, the Sasquatch.
The Mando movie is coming, and it's a good time to ask about this. I've enjoyed the diverse forms that Mandalorian culture has taken over the years of TV. At the same time, I could always tell that I was missing context and that all these portrayals were drawing on earlier EU content that I had missed.
I just read the short e-book "Boba Fett: A Practical Man." I actually can't remember what first brought me there, but it was my first encounter with the EU Mandos and I want to see more. I know there's some deep history in some of the comics and one or more novel series that develop Mando culture in depth. So I'm interested in recommendations on the best places to start and what's most worth reading.
