Anyone taking prozac?

I’ve been on and off many different antidepressants/antianxiety for 7+ years, as I have GAD and major depression. My most recent medication is duloxetine (been on it for about a year and a half) and I’m slowly tapering off of it (for a slew of reasons) and switching over to prozac.
What is y’all’s experience with Prozac? My panic attacks have been daily now and I’m hoping this helps with it, as well as my health anxiety (since it’s technically categorized as OCD and prozac is a commonly prescribed medication)

Have you ever experienced a heart attack scare because of your anxiety?

For my entire life, I’ve had intense cardiophobia. when I was little, i remember having insane panic attacks because of how scared I was of experiencing a heart attack, despite being heart healthy and so young.
I am now diagnosed with POTS and regularly experience extremely concerning heart rates and it has made my health anxiety 10x worse. Whats even more messed up is that, as many of us with anxiety disorders know, anxiety is notorious for mimicking symptoms that are seen during heart attacks (chest pain, rapid heart rate, dizziness, etc.) it’s so evil. It’s hard to tell when my chest pain is cause for medical concern, or it’s just my intense anxiety playing games with me.
This has sparked some curiosity in me though, and I’m wondering how many of y’all experience this same thing?
Any other cardiophobia ppl out there?

How to get used to fainting in public??

Well, it seems fainting has become a normal symptom for me with my POTS. It is so disturbing for me now that I’m back on university campus for my 3rd year. Couldn’t even run errands yesterday without overheating and sitting down to faint. Was quite embarrassing but I’m glad I caught it early.

How can I better prepare for moments like this? I can feel when I’m about to faint (the presyncope is loud and very intense) but besides just sitting and letting it pass, is there anything else I should like…do? I’m still getting used to this.

pupils different sizes during migraine

Does anyone else experience this??? I’m having a pretty awful migraine attack thats mostly affecting the right side of my head (behind my eye, temple, eyebrow, jaw, neck) which isn’t that uncommon for me, but this time around my right pupil is much larger.
They still react to light (ie shrinking and growing) the right one is always just a tad bigger. Has this ever happened to anyone else??

(Image is flipped)

Edit: I think I should add that Im only 20, so the chances of it being a stroke or aneurysm are quite low. (Never 0 though!) That and the fact that I had a ct scan not too long ago and everything was all clear.

Recently started experiencing fainting

I’ve always dealt with presyncope events, but it was few and far between. it has become a daily thing now, and I’ve started experiencing full syncope along side it. It’s new to me, I don’t know how to navigate it, and I hate fainting. I hate the feeling before hand knowing it’s coming.

For the people who deal with these symptoms regularly, how do you manage? I need advice!

Follow up on my post heatstroke beach trip

I made a post about a week and a half ago asking for advice to make my summer beach trip go as smooth as possible after having a heatstroke.

It was my first beach trip since getting sick and dealing with all this, and on top of it I had a heatstroke two weeks before I was scheduled to leave. It took a lot of hospital visits and medicine but I was able to make a full recovery. The stroke ended up leaving me in a cycle migraine state, which was without a doubt the worst pain I had ever been in. But after a steroid shot i was able to slowly creep out of the cycle.

I got back from the trip last night and I’m proud to say it went well! There was only one close call, but I acted quickly and was able to get symptoms under control. It was overall very fun!

I’ll be heading to New York City at the end of this week now…im hopeful I’ll be able to stay in good health on that trip too! Thanks everyone who offered advice on the last post.

Does anyone else get hot limbs?

Does anyone else get hot arms, hands, calves and feet? Especially when lying down or holding still? Mine get all hot and tingly.

I haven’t seen many people or doctors talk about this, but it’s a symptom I’ve recently been experiencing. My arms and legs will get super warm, like on the inside? If that makes sense

To the touch, they aren’t any hotter than other parts of my body. They just feel hot inside. Wondering if this is some kind of nerve damage or nerve response.

Going to the beach, recovering from a heatstroke

In exactly one week, I’ll be heading to the beach, an environment I haven’t been in since I was a child. I am 20 (F) and now diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (CSU), general dysautonomia (testing for POTS) and I am pre diabetic as well, and I suffer with a few mental illnesses too.
Typically, I do so-so at managing my health, but the only concern now is that a few days ago I suffered a heatstroke (from overheating and being clinically dehydrated) and I am in and out of hospital recovering. Things have been exceptionally hard and different for me now, and I’m worried the beach might be a bad idea. How can I make the most of the trip, without overexerting myself and flaring up again? Any tips?

I’m sorry if this is poorly worded or vague, I’ve never actually posted anything on this site, just used it to browse lmao
