Schrödingers equation and Chemical Bonding

In high school, teachers taught us that bonding between atoms is either due to sharing of electrons or complete transfer of electrons. But in grade 12, after studying Heisenberg uncertainty principle and Schrödinger equation, I tried to understand chemical bonding from a quantum mechanics perspective.

Now I can only imagine it as a superposition or overlap of electron wavefunctions/probabilities. What is chemical bonding actually in quantum mechanics?

Why no superposition is seen ?

Suppose you placed two lights at some distance and their lights facing eachothers exactly straight. Then from physics principle ,they should get superposed and amplitude should be doubled and intensity should also increase.

But when i tried this at home ,i didn't feel like superposition.Whats the issue here ?

Do they need to have same phase or phase difference like for interference ?

Advice please

Hello seniors, I was really interested in Computer Engineering in grade 10–11 but when I started going deeper than just coding, I felt like Electronics and Mechanical are actually way more fundamental and interesting 😭. Right now I’m preparing for IOE entrance and my recent mock tests are going pretty good, but now I’m confused about which field I should actually choose.

Electronics or Mechanical pulchowk ma pauna lai kati jati rank lyaunu parxa kehi suggetions ani yo ioe ma calculator lana paine napaine vanne khas ma chai k ho.Programmable vanya kasto calculator vanna khojya ho ??

Ani ioe tira freedom chai kattiko hunxa like kehi out of syllabus topics explore garna kattiko time milxa ?
