hey everyone, I woke up from a dream of the solar eclipse and I’m now more than ever excited to see it. I’m from Italy and based where I live I should see a 98% totality, however reading the comments of people who experienced a 100% solar eclipse are making me question if i should buy last minute tickets and go to Spain.
I’ve been extremely depressed so I have many doubts but at the same time I wonder when will it be the next time that I will experience something like this, what are your thoughts?
I’m a woman and i’d be going solo so that’s why is also a bit scary.
Which are the cities for the best experience? Will the crowds be overwhelming ?

ETA: decided i’m not going, i don’t have the energy to do something like this last minute and it’s overwhelming to choose a place to stay/spend a ton of money. I will however make sure to be ready for next year

I’ve seen so many comments in r/bugs from people expressing the same opinion, it’s a feature that nobody asked for, everyone seems unhappy (i’ve yet to see a single comment appreciating this change) and overall kills the fluidity of checking the posts. For years if I wanted to check comments all I had to do was swipe up, now I have this built in muscle memory that no longer serves a purpose and brings me to other posts that I don’t care about, so I have to swipe back and click the ridiculously small bubble icon.

PLEASE change it back! No one wants this 🙏
