Perfect timing for the event! 👷🏼♀️
I am going to do a total 12 hours long plane trip. I have to accept that the best thing I can do for myself is to book assistance. But it's such a big step and even though I've been sick for 3 years, I'm still ashamed. On the outside, I look healthy. I do my makeup, fix my hair, dress, talk, walk (with of course a huge amount of energy spent on doing that.) I'm terrified of not being taken seriously. Can you please help me overcome this fear/feeling of being ashamed and tell me the benefits of doing the wheelchair assistance.

As the title says, do you have any tips on how I can make a long flight as good as possible? It's a total of 12 hours with a short layover. I will travel alone so I have no one but myself to rely on. It's the first time I will travel alone since I got sick.
What I have been thinking so far to bring/do;
- Earplugs
- Noise cancelling headphones
- Eye mask
- I plan to arrive earlier than I normally do to the airport to avoid as much stress as possible
What else!?
I think I am somewhere around light to moderate.
And also, I already know that I am gambling with my own health by doing this so please be kind!
I'm a Swede who will be visiting and I want a permanent souvenir!
I am Swedish, lives in Sweden and I want to get in touch with other Swedes who have CFS.
Take care!
My sweet, sweet boy. 11 years old. My everything!
This is how we wind down every night before bed. We both love this.
