Just wanted to share what I found while traveling around Las Vegas recently. There's a new generation of restaurants and former pop-ups that are changing the smoked meat scene there, and the group is turning out high-quality stuff that you might be surprised to find in such a tourist-famous town.

At Runyon Canyon's $1M LA bathrooms, the anger is overflowing

Last year, a group called Runyon Canyon Guardians came out fighting against the popular Hollywood hiking spot's planned bathrooms. Lately, though, as the much-needed toilets near completion, the group seems to have moved on — mostly to using slurs and calling Nithya Raman a Communist.

The SF tech worker whose 100-patty order broke In-N-Out forever

Almost 22 years ago, Will Young accidentally changed In-N-Out policy forever when he and some friends, including the late Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh, got workers at a Las Vegas store to make a 100x100.

Funnily enough, after a lifetime in tech he’s got a new project in the works now that he hopes will help reshape all of fast food.
