[For Hire] I build the boring internal tools nobody else wants to build

Full-stack dev, available now.

Landing pages and business sites at the simple end. At the other end, the work most people avoid — client portals, admin dashboards, order and inventory systems, custom CRMs. Anything replacing a business run out of spreadsheets and group chats.

Stack: React, Tailwind, Node, Supabase, Python.

Rough numbers:

  • Landing pages and small sites, from $250
  • Multi-page with a CMS or booking, $600 to $1.5k
  • Logins, payments, admin panel behind it, $1.5k to $4k
  • Full internal systems, $4k and up

All of it is negotiable. Every project's different — message me and we'll sort it out.

Portfolio: kynokeys.com. Real client work, all live. Skip papervault.in, mid-rebrand.

Tell me what you're building and I'll be straight about whether I'm the right fit.

Anyone good at finding clients? I build the sites, you get 25%

I build websites and web apps for businesses. Finding the businesses is the part I'm bad at, so I'd rather pay someone who's good at it.

Basically — go find local places with no website or one that hasn't been touched since 2015. Restaurants, salons, barbers, gyms, contractors, whatever. Chat to the owner, see if they're up for it, send them my way. Same goes for anyone running a business on spreadsheets who'd be better off with an actual system.

I do the rest. Design, build, hosting, revisions, all of it. You never touch code.

Range is wide — simple landing pages at one end, internal CRMs and dashboards at the other. Anywhere from $250 to $5k depending on what they actually need. You get 25%, paid when the client pays. However many you want.

My work's at kynokeys.com — all live client stuff. Skip papervault.in though, it's mid-rebrand.

DM me. Just tell me roughly how you'd go about finding people, nothing formal.

[For Hire] I'll build you a landing page for free — I just need the practice

Three slots open. Free.

You get a proper single-page site, responsive, live on your domain. One round of changes. Takes about a week.

All I want back is the right to show it in my portfolio, and you telling me straight what you think of it — what worked, what didn't, where you'd have clicked away. That's the part I'm actually after. I can build fine. I'm still figuring out what makes people stay.

My stuff's at kynokeys.com — real client work, all live. Have a look and decide for yourself.

Tell me what you're building and I'll let you know if I'm the right fit.

I build landing pages — 3 free slots open, $150 after that

I build landing pages. Right now I'm building three of them for free, and after that they're $150.

That's the whole offer. Details below if you want them.

What I've actually shipped

Not mockups, not tutorials. These are live and in production:

silkline.co.in — a door-to-door imports platform I built for a client. Freight, customs, GST and last-mile delivery consolidated onto a single invoice. React, Tailwind and Supabase, with a working waitlist and an admin dashboard behind it.

papervault.in — a document vault for Indian paperwork. This one's mine. ₹99/mo, real paying users, and I handle everything from the schema to the support emails.

Everything else is at kynokeys.com.

The free three

I want better portfolio pieces than my own projects, and I want to get sharper at the conversion side of things. Three slots, no cost, no catch.

What you get

  • A responsive single-page site, built around one action you actually want visitors to take
  • Deployed live on your own domain
  • One round of revisions
  • Roughly a week, start to finish

What I ask for

  • Permission to show the work in my portfolio
  • Your honest reaction — where you'd have bounced, what confused you, what you went hunting for and couldn't find

That second part is the real payment. I'm confident about the building. I'm still learning what converts, and I'd rather learn that on something real than on an invented project.

What I need from you is rough: what it does, who it's for, and any logo or images you already have. Don't have them? That's normal at this stage. I'll work with what exists.

Pre-launch and early-stage founders get priority, because that's where a good page changes the most.

After the free three: $150

Flat rate, not hourly. You know the number before I start and I'm not billing you for my thinking time.

$150 covers: a responsive single-page site built to spec, deployed live on your domain, two rounds of revisions, and the source handed over so you're never locked to me. React and Tailwind by default, or plain HTML and CSS if you'd rather keep it simple to maintain yourself.

Timeline: five working days from the point I have your content.

Multi-page sites, backends, or anything involving auth or payments gets quoted separately. I'll scope it honestly before you commit to anything.

Three things I've learned watching pages fail

Free advice, take it or leave it:

  1. One action per page. Not signup and demo and newsletter and Discord. Pick the one that matters.
  2. Say what it does before you say why it's good. Most pages open with adjectives and never get around to the noun.
  3. Show the actual product. A real screenshot beats a stock illustration every single time.

If any of this is useful to you, comment or send me a message. If I'm not the right person for what you need, I'll tell you that instead of taking the work.

Building 3 landing pages for free — I need portfolio pieces, you need a site

I'm a developer in Bengaluru. Most of my work so far has been full builds — a door-to-door imports platform for a client (silkline.co.in, live) and a document-vault SaaS I run myself (papervault.in, ₹99/mo, in production).

What I don't have much of is standalone landing pages, and that's the work I want more of. So: three of them, free, no catch.

What you get:

  • A single-page site, responsive, built properly (React + Tailwind, or plain HTML/CSS if that suits your setup better)
  • Copy structured around one action you want visitors to take
  • Deployed and live, on your domain
  • One round of revisions

What I want:

  • Permission to show it in my portfolio
  • Honest feedback, including the parts you don't like

What I need from you: a rough idea of what the business does, who it's for, and any logo/photos you already have. If you don't have those, that's fine, I'll work with what exists.

Turnaround is about a week each. After these three I'll be charging, but that's not what this post is about.

I build the websites. I'm useless at finding the clients. 20% to whoever isn't.

So I'm a web dev, I run Kynokeys, and I can take a business from "we have nothing" to a proper working site without breaking a sweat. That bit I'm good at.

Finding those businesses in the first place? Absolute disaster. I go quiet for three weeks and then panic about it.

So I'm looking for one person to handle outreach and bring me clients. 20% of every project you close. No base pay right now, and I'm not going to dress that up — it's commission-only. If deals land, it turns into real money and I'd want to make it something properly paid. If they don't, neither of us eats.

Work whenever. I'm counting conversations and signed deals, not hours.

My stuff's at kynokeys.com if you want to see whether it's worth selling.

If commission-only isn't your thing, totally fair, no hard feelings. If it is — DM me, tell me a bit about you.

Kynokeys: I build the web tools founders keep putting off building

Hey r/StartupIndia

I run Kynokeys — a one-person software studio based in Bengaluru. Over time I've picked up a fair bit of range: websites, internal tools, dashboards, and a few things I'd call genuinely premium builds for clients who needed more than just a template site.

I'm not here to pitch hard — mostly wanted to introduce Kynokeys to this community and see where it's useful. If you're a founder who's been putting off getting something built, or has an idea that's been sitting in a notes app for months, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.

DM me anytime — I'm around most of the day and happy to just talk it through, no pressure either way.

I replaced my contact form with a 5-step brief builder. Should the budget step show real numbers?

I'm a freelance web designer working solo, and my contact form was doing me no favours. A blank message box mostly produced "hi, how much for a website?" followed by three emails figuring out what the person actually wanted.

So I rebuilt it as a short guided flow — five questions, one per screen, about a minute. What are you building (landing page, CMS dashboard, internal tool, other), a follow-up that adapts to that answer, where you're based (this quietly switches ₹ or $), budget, then the brief plus name and email. A line of copy responds to each choice so it reads like a conversation, and a rough estimate builds up in the corner as you go.

It's live here: kynokeys.com — happy to have it poked at.

The part I keep going back and forth on is budget. It shows real bands, and they differ by project type — a landing page starts low, an internal CRM starts much higher. The scope answer can also remove the cheapest band: say "20+ daily users" and the lowest option disappears.

My thinking was that a free text box lets someone name a number that's an order of magnitude off, and then we both lose a week discovering it. But I can't shake the counter-argument — visible numbers anchor people low, or scare off someone who'd have paid more, or just feel transactional before any trust exists.

Three things I'd love opinions on:

  1. Should pricing be there at all? If yes, early so people self-select out, or later once they've put in some effort?
  2. What else earns a slot? Timeline? "How did you find me?" "What does success look like?" It has to stay under a minute, so anything new has to push something out.
  3. What am I missing on the defensive side? Right now: honeypot plus a minimum-time check, email validation, answers persist in the browser if my backend is down (with my email shown as a fallback), and each step has its own URL so I can see where people drop. Curious what's burned other people — spam, junk enquiries, half-finished briefs.
