How do you handle power main villains?

Do they beat your heros all the time and then get nerfed for the finale fight so the hero can win? Do they barely appear at all and is still very powerful for their 1 and only combat against the heros? Do they remain superpowerful from beginning to end and just get outsmarted? How often do you powerful main villains lose? Let's discuss this!

Is there any hero who loses a loved one to a villain and then goes on a quest of vengeance to kill that villain. and once he confront the villain kills him and finally am happy having achieved vengeance! A eye for eye!

So basically that. Is there a story like that? Cause a lot of stories have it where the hero kills a lot of minions but not the main villain! So I would like to know thar there's 1 characters who's a hero goes on a mission of vengeance killing all the bad guys and confronting the main villain,kills him and get his vengeance! Becoming very happy he achieved his goal and was not stopped or did not stop himself from doing his vengeance that's rightfully his!

I wish thar the heroic divine pass in dragon city game costs half the money,lasts twice as long as they do and the elite skin is the better one between it and the sticker album. Also that dragon city always loads very quickly and never crashes
