What breed is Cash?

This is our friend's dog Cash, he's the sweetest most gentle soul and it's possible he may become ours in the near future due to living circumstances with his current owner. We ADORE him but were curious if anyone could figure out his breed! We personally think some Setter or Springer Spaniel for sure, but can't figure out what else! His current owner got him from a shelter recently and they didn't know his breed

Shipment Coming From a Hong Kong Power Company, is this a scam?

I got an email from FedEx telling me my 'order has shipped and is on its way' from a "HengSheng Power Company", coming from a California address. But I didn't order anything from this place nor have I ever heard of it. When I googled it, it said it was a power company based in Hong Kong but couldn't find anything else. I'm still waiting for the DMV to mail my new state ID, would it come from something weird like this? I'm in Wyoming. No money has been taken from my bank so that's all good, just trying to figure out what this is about.

Anyone else have terrible luck with this specific model?

So I gotta ask what is the deal with this vacuum? When I first bought it two years ago, it was only $40 (gradually has increased in price since). It worked great for about a year, and then died on me. It stopped picking up entirely, had no clog or anything. Belt wasn't damaged either. So I bought a secondary one, and only three months later same exact problem. Just stops picking up, no reason either.

But here's the kicker. Ironically, the office I work at has the same exact vacuum. And they also went through TWO in a similar timespan. First one died for the same reason, just stopped picking up, again no clogs. They are currently on their second one, and while it still picks up, it makes an ungodly loud screeching noise when its powering down. Mind you, they just bought it like a month ago.

Has anyone else had a bad time with this specific model? I'm upgrading to a hoover next month because im sick of dealing with the short lifespan of these, but just was curious if anyone else had a similar issue

How to deal with SUDDEN boar smell out of no where? I cannot stand it much longer

We have two bonded, unneutered boars. They're going to be three years old next February, we've had them for about a year and a half. In this year and a half, we've never had to deal with a severe 'boar smell' but the last few weeks it has been UNBEARABLE.

We don't understand what's changed, but the odor is so bad I feel sick when I have to go in the room their cage is in. Nothing about their routine has changed, their bedding is fleece and has been fleece since we got them, the amount of times I clean it has remained the same, and nothing has changed in their diet or behavior. We clean their sacs often. Again, this is after a year and a half of there being BARELY any smell even when it gets close to cage cleaning day.

They just suddenly STINK and it is so bad I get a headache when I'm near their cage too long. I literally just cleaned their cage yesterday and it already REEKS, I'm at a complete loss and seriously need advice on what to do. Would aspen bedding mute the smell better than fleece? I just don't know what to do and am at a total loss 😞

As someone who loves the Harry Potter universe (been a fan since I was 10 years old way back when the first film released), I adore Hogwarts Legacy. However like many, I do feel it falls short in certain areas. Especially when it comes to being a student at Hogwarts. So I wanted to give what I wish Hogwarts Legacy 2 would be all about (even though it likely won't sadly) Just to clairfy, I'm not a game developer, I'm just a passionate fan who played all the Harry Potter games.

Where the first game focused more on a big, epic story involving your character becoming a hero, Hogwarts Legacy 2 scales things down quite dramatically to not only force the player to spend most of the story inside the castle and its surrounding grounds, but to allow a more free roam, school based gameplay. Where Hogwarts Legacy is a story/battle game, the sequel could fall under the 'cozy game' category.

-Basic Premise/Set up

Based in the 1950s, introducing us to a totally new time period, you will be making a new main character that isn't your previous one from the first game. Perhaps they can be a grandchild, or related in some manner as a fun way to connect both games. In this game, your character will indeed be given a story but it will be much smaller, yet far more personal to your character.

-The Prologue

The game opens up with your letter to Hogwarts, much like the first game, but this time it takes place a few years in the past before 'current events of the game'. You are a first year in the prologue, shown in a first person camera (reason for this will be described further down). You are able to free roam Diagon Alley, buy your wand, school books, cauldron, potting plant, and robes. Once you finish your shopping, you can ride the Hogwarts Express. This can likely just be a cutscene but you can board on and off the train in game. The Prologue ends with your Sorting Ceremony, that works pretty much the same as the first game.

-Main Story

You are transported into Create a Character, finally able to pick how they look, their gender, etc. Once you finish, the story timeskips via cutscene to your fifth year. This gives the player early and easy access to Hogsmeade and Qudditch. Now you are put in the proper third person camera. The story this time around is much smaller scale compared to the first game. The world is not in danger, there isn't a goblin rebellion, and you're not searching memories of long deceased wizards and witches you really don't have a connection with.

Instead, the story is much more personal. I'm keeping it vague to give people an oppurunity to give their own ideas, but it should have something to do with your character's family. It could be a sickness, estrangement, but regardless of what it is, it takes a backseat and is much smaller, kind of like Sebastian and Anne's story in the first game.

-Gameplay

This is where we get into the juicy stuff. Unlike the first game, Hogwarts Legacy 2 focuses much more on living day to day as a Hogwarts student. This includes the following features:

Day/Night Cycle you cannot change, forcing you to follow a school day schedule. You are given one class per day you must attend. The class always changes each day. Use the rest of your free time to study, free roam the grounds, practice Qudditch with a broom you eventually can buy in Hogsmeade, or form friendships/relationships with fellow students. If you miss your class, you lose credit on your O.W.Ls and house points.

House Point System. This game has an actual functioning house point system. You can just as easily lose the house cup at the end of the year as you can win it. There is a curfew, and if you are caught sneaking out after dark you lose house points. Think like Chamber of Secrets PS2

Qudditch is back, and is completely optional. You can choose what player you want to be, Chaser, Beater, Keeper, or Seeker and how Qudditch works will adjust accordingly to what you chose. You're not forced to practice for matches, but its encouraged. Just like the house points, you can easily lose or win a Qudditch game. If you win all matches of the year, you get the Qudditch House Cup.

Fast Travel is still floo flame, but much more limited to encourage exploring, and it does not work after curfew.

Relationship/Friendship system. You can now form friendships with fellow students, and yes choose a character to be romantic with.

Magical Creatures. While I enjoy having my hoard of beasts in the Room of Requirement, I find it would be more immersive to go a simplier route in this sequel instead. You can purchase your own owl of your choice in Diagon Alley, and then in Hogsmeade get a secondary pet of your choice. A cat, a rat, a toad, or perhaps a Puffskin or Mooncalf, something small. If you want to ride a Hippogriff, you may go to Care for Magical Creatures class and pick one stationed there of your choice. So a gray one, a black one, and a brown one. Like the PS2 Prisoner of Azkaban, once you're done using your Hippogriff for travel or just flying around, you merely land, dismount and it will respawn back at the pens where you found it once you enter back into the castle.

Field Guide Pages and various puzzles throughout the castle return, but no more demiguise (you just learn Alohomora from a class)

Spell Learning: You start off the game already knowing basic spells to account for your first four years, so Flipendo, Wingardium Leviosa, Accio, and Lumos as your starters. Over the year, you learn more advanced spells such as Stupify, Glacius, Alohomora, and all the others from the first game. You can learn the Unforgivable Curses, but choosing this will sink your reputation and have dire consquences, including an Azkaban arrest if witnessed.

Potion Making: Similar to Half Blood Prince PS2, the potion making is more involved and hands on. A similar gameplay is featured for tending to plants in Herbology.

Food/Sleep: You can eat meals in the Great Hall of your choice, any time of day. The meals change throughout the day from breakfast, lunch to dinner, as well as holiday feasts. You can sleep in your own bed in the dormitory whenever you wish.

Reputation System: There will be consquences to how you choose to be both as a student and a friend. If you have a good reputation, keep up with your studies and get along well with your peers, you will be greeted nicely by passerbys, invited to more games (wizard's chess, gobstones, etc) and maybe given discounts in Hogsmeade. If you do poorly in classes and aren't the nicest to your peers, you'll be insulted by NPCs in the hallways (think PS2 OOTP), not invited to games or given discounts, however the pro to having a bad reputitation is you can often blackmail students/have them fear you to do your bidding. You also can get away with stealing from shops in Hogsmeade because the more you spend sneaking out at night, the better yout stealth improves.

World/Map:

Unlike the first game, the map is scaled down by a TON. No more south side, and a chunk of the very north is gone now too. Instead, the map only contains the following:

Hogwarts Castle and its surrounding grounds and lake

Hogsmeade/Hogsmeade Station

The Forbidden Forest

A small section of farms and homesteads on the other side of the Forbidden Forest (you can only access this area through a certain hidden path deep in the Forbidden Forest you can't fly through).

This allows the game to feel more like you are a student restricted to Hogwarts area only, and not free to travel all over Scotland.

Enemies:

In order to keep that dueling in check, there are some enemies outside the castle you can encounter. You can only find them in the Forbidden forest, deep unexplored dungeons of the castle and the area beyond previously mentioned. There include:

Spiders

Dugbogs

Mongrels

Trolls

Redcaps

Hinkypunks

Pixies

Doxies

Devil's Snare

Dark Wizards (they are not poachers or goblins, but rather early followers of Voldemort before he was fully risen to power)

Completing The Game:

The option to finish the story is there, but to truly 'complete' the game is to finish your classes, achieve all spells, and win the house cup. The game will conclude with your train ride back home, but after the credits you may continue to free roam as long as you want.
