The Maryland Renaissance festival is banning fursuits

The festival still allows patrons to wear themed costumes, but now tightens restrictions on what headgear is allowed to be worn.
“All headwear must be removable, thematic to the event, and appropriate for a family-friendly venue,” the event’s website reads.
“Face-covering must be removed upon entering the village gate after which they can be worn as intended.”
Fursuits are explicitly mentioned as part of the ban on headgear.

Ey- long time fan, watched the orginal Anmated Cartoons on Cassett (The Hobbit, Return of teh King, and Ralph Bakshee LOTR) and read "The Hobbit" when I was in Middle School. When I heard they are remaking the film. Really hope it doesnt go BOTCHED.
