Right now I honestly think I should just keep my mouth shut and support her. She was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and then last week she found out she was pregnant. She can’t do chemotherapy while pregnant, so that means that she would have to wait nine months and the cancer might rapidly spread. And she’s decided to get an abortion and her husband is on board. I understand why she’s doing it and I don’t want make anything harder for her. it’s just a horrible situation.

I don’t think it’s really my place to tell what to do, but I do kinda feel bad for not saying anything.

like genuinely how am I supposed to move on with my life. If anyone has books suggestions like this series please tell me. I’m gonna read her Dark Rising next tho.

So I read PG in like a day because I have no self control. And now I’m reading KR and Laurent is being a little bitch. I hope that Laurent gets better because rn i dont like him 😭😭😭😭 and i also refuse to believe that Laurent doesn’t love Damen, like yeah okay. Sorry this is kinda a rant post

I‘ve just finished the first one and I’m hesitant to read the second one because I don’t want to read a book where Laurent is just abusing his power over Damen. I did like the book and I do like Laurent and I think he’s really interesting character. I just really don’t like the way he’s treated Damen. the scene where he also has Damen raped and where he indirectly sexually assaults him, the one with Ancel. The flogging scene pisses him off too, because I understand that he is mad about his brother and maybe if he just had him flogged I would be okay, but I just can’t get behind the sexual abuse.

I also think that Laurent has been abused, by his uncle. And Damen isn’t a perfect person either, how he views slavery as okay. Either way, I don’t think that Damen deserves to be treated like that.

Also, I don’t want any spoilers, just if he gets better or not.

I did really enjoy the first one, I just didn’t like how the main character (Damen) was basically put through hell. The flogging scene really bothers me, as well as the scene where he almost has Damen raped, that’s honestly such a horrible thing to do to someone. And Damen is powerless to him and Laurent definitely abuses the power imbalance.

i understand that he that because he killed his brother, but honestly I would have forgiven him sooner because it was likely self defense and it’s not like he was maliciously killing him. But that’s not to say Damen is a perfect angel, give his views slavery. And I’m suspecting that Laurent had been abused, probably by his uncle. The scene where he had Laurent kiss his ring gave it away for me. Either way, I don’t think that really excuses him of his treatment of Damen.

Also, I don’t want any spoilers, just if he gets better or not.

1. Bran & Niko. There’s no way they’d ever get divorced. They‘re my second favorite couple.

2. Kayden & Gareth. They are kinda perfect for each other and Kayden would burn the world for him, and i really don’t think anyone else could handle Gareth. Also, Gareth would never let him leave lol. They’re my favorite couple. I can see the staying child free.

3. Vaughn and Yulian. They are perfect for each other and I can see them having children in the future.

4. Ava & Eli. They are soulmates and have been through so much together. I think Ava would been the best mom.

5. Lan & Mia. I love them so much and they are exactly what each other needed and make each other complete.

neutral about

Glyn and Killian. I can honestly see it going both ways for them.

getting divorced

1. Anni & Creign. I hate Creigh and he pisses me off and he doesn’t deserve her at all. Anni deserves so much better than him. She needs someone who is more like her.

2. Cecily and Jeremy. Too different and Jeremy was always her second place and Jeremy is with because of his trauma. They don’t have a healthy relationship imo. Also I don’t think Cecily will be able to stomach his world.

Anyway these are just my opinions

I’m new to this fandom and ive just finished the series. So I’m sorry if this has already been said.

1. Ragatha; I think she is a ragdoll because she always lets people push her around, more accurately her mom. when Caine goes crazy, we see a vision where her mom is throwing knives and she just takes it.

2. Kinger; on the chess board the king is the most important (like how he was the only one who could outsmart Caine) but the queen is the most powerful and once the king loses his queen, he becomes very weak. Like how he lost his wife and she was literally the queen on chess.

3. Pomni; I think she is a jester because maybe she was always the butt of the joke? And in her human life it’s suggested that she was an introvert. But she’s also the most human like, and I thought that this could mean that it’s because she adapts the quickest and keeps her sense self and that’s why she’s the most human like.

4. Gangle; I think she is shown as a ribbon because of how vulnerable she is.

5. Jax? I don’t really have a theory on him/her, but I’d love to hear yours!

6. Zooble; it’s clear that they are that way because they don’t feel comfortable in their own bodies and have to change to accommodate themselves. So thats why I got to thinking on why the charactors have designs.

I’ve just recently got into Moral Orel and I’m so sad that they didn’t finish the show, it’s so irritating that it got cancelled, just because it was starting to get darker. I don’t think they will because it’s been awhile and I haven’t seen any announcements. It’s such a shame because the whole show is so well written. Anyway, let me know what you think.

Bran Niko felt the most real to me. Gareth and Kayden are perfect for each other, I don’t think anyone but Kayden could deal with his shit lol. For Yulian and Vaughn you could just feel their connection and I felt like their chemistry was really well written. Who are your favorite couples and why?

Firstly, they all sound like 13 yr olds edge lords who have an inner darkness that can’t “tame”. Or if you’re Crieghton who was sexually attracted to minor 💀which is so weird omg. I fr could not deal with the elites acting all tough when they are just spoiled nepo babies.

My first RK book was GoF and then from there i started reading exclusively mm, but I’ve recently gotten into yuri and I love them both equally. I read GoM and absolutely hated it, the sex scenes were awful and I dreaded them so much. They made me so uncomfortable and I hated the power imbalance. Then I started GoP and I hated it. So maybe I just read DR because of the power imbalance. Whereas in yaoi and yuri things feel way balanced and equal. Maybe I could read DR were both the FMC and MMC are switches and take turns being the sub and dom. But unfortunately that seems really hard to come by in DR. Anyway, let me know what you think. Do you feel the same?

They are all obviously very beautiful and ofc beauty is subjective. But who do you think RK intended to be the most beautiful? in my opinion it’s either Ava or Mia, maybe also Annika. Probably the first two because RK favors female blondes. And Mia and Ava are mentioned and favored throughout the series. But Annika is also mentioned as being very pretty. But imo it’s Mia because she’s “not like other girls” and stuff. Anyway, let me know what you think!

He was reading it just a few minutes ago and he was confused about the mafia thing and whole world because he’s never read any other books, I’m genuinely scared of how he’s gonna act when gets to those parts…because he’s not into spice. it’ll be so awkward. Please tell me if I’m overreacting.

Mine are

1. KtV. I just love Gareth so much, nothing can ever make me hate him. He’s literally such a diva, his chapters were always so entertaining. Also him fumbling every time was so funny, like with all his goddamn teasers.

2. GoF. Niko is such a lovable character and he will always have a special place in my heart. I loved how supportive he was of Bran. I loved Bran so much, he‘s so relatable and also one of RK’s men who will admit they are the problem.

3. HtV. I loved this book so much but It felt a little rushed.

I liked KtV the most because it’s the most kinky and the other two were more vanilla.

I am so excited for Tempting venom, I literally read the vipers series just for them. i also think I’ll really love CtV because it’ll be super dark.

I like Yuri too and it’d cool if she would write that.

I’m taking about the scene in GoM where Gyln leaves and Killian assumes Gareth told her about Devin. I’m not sure that he really would’ve gotten the chance because Asher likely would have stopped him. But if he did, Killian would probably be disowned because Gareth is obviously his dad and grandpa’s favorite, his mom would likely still love him tho. Niko, Jer, and Vaughn would probably be mad for a while and Im not sure if they would cut him off. Vaughn may because he and Gareth are super close.

Im not really sure what Kayden would do, he may kill Killian lowkey.

Killian would likely feel some kind of loss because he did really care about him, maybe he would feel like it was wasteful to kill Gareth. Not sure he would feel remorse but he’d definitely feel something.

Glyn, she would probably stay by his side tbh.
