So as we all know, Netflix cut 2 episodes from season 1, 10 episodes to 8, mid-production which lead to the ending feeling a little bizarre.

What could have been these cut episodes be about? Maybe an extended Taigen x Mizu arc, a cleaner transition from Edo to the ship to London, Akemi grieving the loss of Seki...

What do you think? I think we should get a sort of "Director's Cut" of season 1 after the series are over.

I am one of the biggest Asian kung fu movie buffs, so when The Furious was announced, I was extremely excited.

I have watched The Raid 1 and 2, The Night Comes for Us, Furie, Headshot, Twilight of the Warriors, and many others, so I was expecting some of the best fight choreography we have seen in recent years, especially with Joe Taslim, who I am a huge fan of, in the movie.

I purchased the movie on Prime and started watching it, but my jaw dropped for all the wrong reasons. The choreography was not nearly as good as I expected, and even the hand-to-hand combat felt underwhelming. I was fine with the storyline, but with better fight choreography, this could have been a movie I would strongly recommend.

I have seen so many people call it the best kung fu movie of the decade, and I was honestly scratching my head, wondering whether we had watched the same movie. Maybe my expectations for kung fu movies are simply too high these days. Indonesian action movies have set the bar incredibly high, and I understand that it can be difficult for other films to match that standard.

PS - I realized after posting this why I am not a huge fan of the movie. I am simply not into the main character's grappling style of fighting.

Thats got to be one of the wildest trailers I've EVER seen, and also INTERESTING!. I think that movie has shot to the very top of my minds list of must see As Soon As Humanely Possible. I dont get to the theater often but will be making the trip for this I think.

I'm just curious, with me not being a huge action fan, or hugely into things like, for instance, the MCU (tho I do watch most of them)... I wonder how actual fans of this type of thing are feeling about it?
