Is this dandelion fluff nesting material from a mouse house, or some other creature? [Indiana]
Something has filled this crevice along the exterior of our garage mostly with dandelion fluff.
Last year there was a similar small nest inside some scrap 2x8s piled atop sawhorses that have long since moved, but I didn't see any droppings then, just some tiny seed casings.
I assume it's a rodent but wondered who specifically :)
I was afraid it would blow away so I put back the wood in front of it
Rhubarb Weevil, Lixus concavus I think! They look like a sunflower seed with a snout 😂
Uh???
I am taking this to my therapist. ... I just. Am processing I guess. I thought I WAS masking less tbqh lol 💀😭
Mostly sharing for the funny but also if anyone wishes to comisserate, give advice, etc, I am more than happy to hear any.
I'm proud of myself cuz I leave like 95% of everything unfinished so this being fully colored is a big win tbh
