Looking for a few adventure-loving people for a 2D/1N Chikmagalur trekking trip from Bangalore 🥾

Hey everyone ( BLR people ) !

I'm planning a 2 Days / 1 Night trekking trip to the Chikmagalur region and thought it'd be fun to have a few like-minded people join instead of going solo.

The rough plan is:

📍 Meet: Friday night around Indiranagar, Bangalore

🚗 I'll be taking my own vehicle, so others can either carpool (depending on available seats) or bring their own vehicle and we can travel together.

Over the weekend we'll be exploring some amazing trails, sunrise viewpoints, waterfalls, and hidden spots around Chikmagalur.

The trip will include:

  • 🥾 Trekking & outdoor adventure
  • 🍛 Meals
  • 🏡 Stay for one night
  • 🌄 Exploring lesser-known trails
  • 🤝 A new adventure buddy who's already familiar with the route

We'll most likely be back by Sunday night, with Monday morning as a buffer if plans run a little late.

Looking for people who are:

  • Open-minded and easy to get along with
  • Comfortable with moderate trekking
  • More interested in experiences than luxury
  • Happy to split expenses fairly

This isn't a commercial tour or travel company event—just a few strangers coming together for an adventure.

If this sounds like your kind of weekend, leave a comment or send me a DM. Happy to share more details and see if we're a good fit before finalizing anything!

[ Friday Fun ] Does anyone else wish there was a better way to keep track of everywhere they've travelled?

I've realised that after a few years of travelling, my memories are scattered across Google Photos, Instagram, WhatsApp, booking emails and random folders.

Sometimes I can't even remember:

  • when I visited a place
  • who I travelled with
  • how much I spent
  • places I'd actually recommend

I also think it would be fun to look back after 5–10 years and have a proper record of all my trips instead of digging through thousands of photos.

Curious how everyone here manages this.

And if there was a better way to preserve your travel history, what would you want it to include (if anything)?
