Mara Jade should be played by Sydney Sweeney.

This Mara Jade should wear outfits that show pretty much her entire rack except for her nipples and every third line should be extolling Anakin Skywalker's greatness.

You guys love Anakin now because you have so much media that has expanded him way beyond what we knew at the time.

All we knew at the time is that this guy is supposed to be Darth Vader when he was younger who according to Obi Wan was a good man and a friend and that was it. So we're watching this movie and all we see is a half crazed emo man child constantly complaining about petty stuff in a life or death situation and who acts like a stalking lustful creep to Padme and he also seems to be on the verge of having a psychotic breakdown throughout the movie.

Now Padme witnesses all this stuff firsthand including but not limited to Anakin going on a deranged rant about how he committed genocide on a whole tribe of sand people (one or two scenes later she's passionately kissing him and saying I love you). Like what woman in her right mind would fall in love with that guy?

I mean you gotta imagine how weird this was watching it at the time. It took a whole animated series where Anakin acts completely different than the movies to change peoples perspective

I really hope this post doesn’t attract a bunch of angry trolls and haters but I’m getting sick and tired of everything so I am gonna be honest

Being a Zack Snyder fan in the DC community can be frustrating at times. It often feels difficult to enjoy the films or look up anything positive about them without running into constant negativity or criticism.

On platforms like YouTube and Twitter, a lot of DC-related content especially around Snyder’s films is heavily focused on criticism. Even when I’m watching videos about other DC shows or media that aren’t related to his work, the conversation often circles back to the same negative talking points.

Because of that, it can be hard to find interesting or balanced discussions about his films. That’s why I really appreciate subreddits like this one, where people actually engage with the movies in a thoughtful way instead of just repeating “Snyder is bad.” It’s refreshing to find spaces where people can genuinely discuss and enjoy the films without the snark or hostility that’s common elsewhere online.
