IT student with no confidence in hardware skills

Good day. Are there any IT students or graduates here that knows minimal to zero hardware skills? I'm currently a 2nd year IT student and based sa mga content na napapanood ko and posts sa fb is that most IT peeps know their way around hardware.

I haven't tried building a pc before (I only have a laptop) and I'm too scared to pry my laptop open because its my entire net worth lol.

Pre Calc Resources Advice

I want to study calculus but I havent taken pre-calc so I figured I'd start there first with professor leonard playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDesaqWTN6ESsmwELdrzhcGiRhk5DjwLP

However, it might limit my learning since there might not be much practice problems in the videos (I think) . I would like to ask for resources I could use to practice solving questions while watching prof leonards lectures so the concepts and information realllyyyy sticks in my head.

Thank you so much:) I would also appreciate any tips if you have any

When do you replace your oldspice stick?

Do you replace it after it runs out or when you notice it starts to lose effectiveness? I find the one I have now doesn't work as well as the first time I bought it.

Is this book good for beginners?

is Linear Algebra and Its Applications Fourth Edition by Gilbert Strang that contains around ~500 pages suitable for beginners? I also have a few questions

  1. I havent tried self studying using books before. How do you suggest I approach this? I'm the type to find an online lecture and jot down notes in my notebook with practice problems.

  2. I found that Gilbert Strang has videos online as well about his lectures but I am not sure which one to start with.

  3. If the book is not beginner friendly and expects you to have some knowledge about the topic beforehand, do you have other suggestions for resources for Linear Algebra?

Thank you so much:)

Am I a bad friend for ignoring my friend messages?

I would like to get your opinion on this.. My friend was ranting and sharing some of her problems and crisis in which I would normally try to comfort and give her assurance, but it was really bad timing of her to reach out to me while I was going through something on my own (but to be fair she wasn't aware of that). So then I chose to ignore her message and when I finally gathered some energy to respond, I kind offfff responded a bit dry ( I only realized this after a few hours).

She still hasn't responded. She might just be asleep and haven't seen my message. But what could I have done better in this situation?

Until what season do you rewatch?

I just finished my 2nd rewatch of modern family (first time i watched it was 2 years ago) and now with only a few hours gap of finishing modern family, I started on season 1 again because ive seen some redditors who said they just go back to season 1 ep 1 again after finishing it because this show is very rewatchable. so my question is until what season do you rewatch? do you start it over again from season 1 until the end or maybe end it at season 6 or 7 when the quality drops a bit. (personally i think i loved every season but i found season 9 a bit boring)

Should i get used to using i+= instead of i = i + 1?

I am more comfortable using the i = i + 1 instead of i += line of code, but I in exams I take at school and on online courses, they'll always use i+= which throws me a bit off, especially on other operations too like i/= or i-= because im not used to seeing it.
