Did anyone notice the washed out colors in Minions & Monsters?

I just watched it in my house and for the entire movie, it seemed like everything was too bright and the picture looked washed out. Its not my TV, as watching the film on other screens (and even the trailer) shows washed out colors.

Was this intentional? Or am I just seeing things?

How does meijer deal with suspension and termination?

A friend of mine is on suspension for stealing. They've been on suspension for two weeks and HR just called, saying they want an in-person meeting with the store director and HR this week.

I'm trying to explain to my friend that this means termination, but my friend says they will likely keep their job and that they would have terminated them over the phone.

Also, FYI, my "friend" is not me. The reason I'm posting this question is that we believe something may be going on healthwise with my friend, leading to a lot of weird, unusual behaviors. We are concerned there may be other behaviors, or that certain behaviors may lead to legal issues.

So, is trying to contact Grace a violation of Daniel's terms of release?

A large part of his behavior is due to fake Graces repeatedly manipulating him into saying and doing a bunch of weird, sometimes illegal shit. He's delusional and has a low level of intelligence, so he falls for it every time. Prior to his prison arc, Tina (RIP) contacted him, and I seem to remember the police getting reports of him doing this as well. The courts were clearly aware of his delusion.

I see people talk about how hilarious it is that he somehow came through and contacted his beloved via proxy within days of his release, but I don't see people mentioning how serious this could be.

He literally violated probation bitch.

Is the next big sale going to be labor day?

I've wanted a beam 2 for a while now. Looking at picking one up and use it with my ATV 4K. Right now, I just use a stereo pair of one's for audio, which destroys the dialogue during most modern movies (at least, for me it does.)

Utilized Career Choice and I quit several weeks after payment was received

Looks like Amazon reversed their payment and I just got a bill for this summer's tuition. Contacted the school, who told me to talk to HR at Amazon. It's been weeks since I've worked there lol.

Putting that out there for anybody in a similar spot.

Edit: This threads reminds me why I'm happy to have left this place. Some of the most miserable people I've ever seen lol.

Edit 2: Turns out, Amazon did pay for it and my school just didn't process it correctly. Amazing to see the misplaced confidence in here lmao. So many "ya ur an idiot u didnt read the obvious policy" comments that are now wrong. But hey, I guess I'm wrong for expecting ya'll to read corporate policy when half of ya'll can't even read.

Best of luck to you all in making something of yourselves.

Lower end 4k TV and the "match dynamic range" setting

Hello all,

I watch movies off a jelly fin server using infuse pro on my apple TV. The TV we use is a lower end LG tv from the early 2020s. It has HDR capabilities, but anything HDR looks far too dark on it. Based on my research, I believe the overall TV isn't bright enough to do a true HDR. My backlight is already at max level, too.

For example, I just watched Overlord 2018 today, and the first half of the movie was dark as fuck. Couldn't really see the actors faces. After disabling "match dynamic range," the same dark scenes are now far brighter and visible.

In this case, is it okay to always disable the "match dynamic range" setting? I tried searching, but I can't find very much information on this exact subject. It seems most people recommend enabling both match frame rate and dynamic range.

plz respond

Fall 2026 Nursing Megathread

Since the other two threads are gone, it is my hope that we can all support each other in here.

To start off, I'm ABSN, applied early April. As of July 7th, I've heard nothing, and I'm still "materials under review."

Several posters have mentioned calling and emailing the SON. They reported that decisions for Fall 2026 should be coming out early to mid July. Previously accepted students have reported hearing back on July 1st and July 6th.

Feel free to post updates.

Update as of 07/13: Decisions are coming out. It appears that conditional ABSN applicants were deferred due to capacity reasons. This is based on my conversations with others who applied for this cohort, along with conversations with OU's advisors. Congratulations to all who have been accepted!

Update as of 07/14: OU SON confirms that all conditional ABSN applicants were deferred to the winter semester due to a "record amount of applicants applying."

Girlfriend has difficulty getting her Taltz injection. Any suggestions?

Hi everyone,

my girlfriend suffers from Ankylosing Spondylitis and is on medicare/medicaid. She's missed her monthly injection by a few weeks now and is developing some symptoms that are extremely painful for her.

I want to help her get her medication, but I don't know how. Medicare and medicaid won't pay for it, her doctors have no samples, and she has an advocate that helps her out, but is ultimately unable to do anything. So, she goes through the Eli Lilly foundation, and has applied.

It looks like the foundation is dragging their feet with this application (coming back and stating she has a part C and D, saying this wasn't filled out correctly, etc.) and we don't know when she'll be able to get her medication.

Any options or ideas?
