Testing out a Tube Screamer with the Fender Acoustasonic 150

This is my third time posting about this amp. It genuinely fascinates me that of all things, death metal is what we use this for. The drive channel on this thing already sounds great, and the TS9 boosting it makes it sound even better. I'm so glad I'm getting this amp.

I've created an abomination

A local guitar store had a Bandmaster head and cab alongside a 5150 head and cab. I decided to do something very funny. It sounds great, too!

Discovered this Sun Valley Super Shredder at a local place today.

I found this at a local place and immediately tried it out. It's rare for a guitar to cause me to come up with new riffs on the spot, but this one did. What's this subreddit's experience with these? I personally think it felt fantastic.

The Fender Acoustasonic 150 takes pedals surprisingly well!

We plugged a DS-1w into the amp today just to see what would happen, and it sounded really good! I'm super satisfied with this amp.

Jason Newsted and the Chophouse Band playing the Creeping Death breakdown in Albany last night.

The audience knew exactly what to do, and it was absolutely glorious. Sorry if y'all can't hear Jason lmao

This picture of Dave from the inside of the Super Collider booklet tickles my fancy in a way I can't describe.

Does anyone else have a song you associate with your character?

I started thinking about this when I found this song, which I associate heavily with my OC Elliot (his ref will be put in the comments). What songs do you associate with your characters?

My friend is letting me borrow a practice amp he got from a BJ's in the '90s. Has anyone seen one of these before?

I tested it out and it actually sounds pretty good clean, though the overdrive only turns on half the time and sounds pretty bad. It's loud as hell, too; loud enough that it could play a gig in a small room. Does anyone know more about these "Mark II" amps? I'd love to hear more!

I decided to shuffle Black Sabbath's entire discography, and this is the first song that came up

Mind you, it was followed up by Into the Void and Hole in the Sky, but damn.

Evidently the spilling of the orange juice was staged, but I still think it's funny that the interview is just Ozzy talking as he makes breakfast. He's so casual in it too; much more relaxed than the crazy persona he puts on. I think it's fascinating.
