After 6 years of tweaking my steamed fish recipe, this is what I have achieved. Fish sits swimming in the bucket, 10 minutes later and it’s on the plate. The absolute peak of seafood freshness.
My friend told me he caught an Atlantic Salmon. After that, I also realised I had a project about conservation due so I decided to choose the Lake Ontario Atlantic Salmon Restoration Program. Here is one of the strains stocked in Lake Ontario. I really hope these beautiful fish come back in bigger numbers since it truly is such a blessing to see one. scallions rubbed into the fish flesh
Caught a bowfin this afternoon. Awesome eating. If you don’t handle it properly it does turn to mush so you have to bleed the fish and take it home right away if you plan on eating one. Bowfin is great eating, lets remove the trash fish stigma from bowfin

Does anyone know if this is a black or brown bullhead? Caught on an ugly stik, peanut butter kool aid mix. Wonderful day with the goldfish as well

How to catch bowfin? I have an ugly stik, top water frog, and a crawfish plastic. Is that good? Also does anyone know what setups would be optimal? I might go near the rattray marsh conservation area
