What’s the funniest excuse someone gave for being late to a meeting?

Today a coworker joined 25 minutes late and said:
Sorry, I was stuck in another call that could’ve been an email.

Honestly… fair enough.

Drop the funniest meeting excuses you’ve heard.

I was setting up every agent project from scratch for way too long

Turns out there's a CLI that handles most of the annoying parts and I only found out about it recently, which is mildly frustrating. pip install agents stack, run init, pick your framework. Handles folder structure, dependencies, and common tools like sql and vision, and leaves the actual logic to you. Open source, MIT license. Makes starting a new project feel like way less of a commitment.

What’s something about weddings that nobody really talks about, but every couple ends up struggling with during planning?

I always hear about the big things like venue, outfits, and food, but I feel like there are hidden challenges that only show up once you’re deep into planning or even after the wedding. It could be family pressure, budget surprises, guest management, or emotional stress.

What’s the latest web series everyone is obsessed with right now? 👀

Need recommendations before I waste another hour scrolling OTT apps instead of actually watching something.

People think you need a huge team to build a profitable business. Reality?

Here are the 11 tools I use to run my $50K/month business 👇

Notion -
My second brain.
Content planning, SOPs, project tracking, client notes — everything lives here.

Slack -
Keeps communication organized instead of drowning in emails and WhatsApp messages.

Canva -
Used daily for social posts, presentations, quick graphics, and ads. Way faster than hiring a designer for every small task.

ChatGPT -
For brainstorming, content drafts, research, rewriting, and speeding up repetitive work.

Google Analytics -
Helps me understand where traffic comes from, what converts, and what’s wasting time.

Ahrefs -
Keyword research, competitor tracking, backlink analysis, and finding content opportunities.

Zapier -
Automates boring tasks between apps. Probably saves me hours every single week.

Loom -
Quick screen recordings instead of long explanation calls. Huge time saver for team communication.

Stripe -
Handles payments smoothly without chasing invoices manually.

Trello -
Simple task management when I don’t want overly complicated systems.

Google Drive -
Still one of the best free tools for storage, collaboration, and sharing files.

Tools I tried but didn’t stick with 👀

  • ClickUp → powerful, but felt overwhelming for my workflow
  • SEMrush → good tool, but I personally preferred Ahrefs
  • Jasper → decent AI writing tool, but ChatGPT replaced most of it for me

Free alternatives worth trying 💡

  • Canva → Figma
  • Ahrefs → Google Search Console + Ubersuggest
  • Slack → Discord
  • Loom → OBS Studio
  • Notion → Google Docs + Sheets
