If the shooter is not in the correct starting position during the make ready, is a squad mate who is not working the Timer or functioning as Tablet RO able to voice their observation and interrupt and stop the shooter during the shooter’s make ready period? This occurred at a Major.

Had a guy at an Area match incur a FTSA penalty, and rage quit right after. Pressed approve, bagged up his gun, and put his belt and mags away, then left.

My main club MD, I’ve heard second hand accounts of him doing the same.

OP wanted to get some work on their 2011, the FFL told him to mail his gun in directly via UPS, UPS flagged the package since OP didn’t go FFL-to-FFL, and almost melted his gun lol. ATF agent allegedly stepped in and got OP his gun back.

Wild story if true. FFL is DSC Gunworks in Michigan.

I was browsing a gun violence data aggregate website made by a gun violence advocacy group that combines shootings and geographical locations. Looks like there was a shooting/body found with gunshot wounds at the Cascades Apartment back in 2021?

What’s crazy is that this apartment gets recommended a lot online on Reddit or Google, but this is the first time I’m hearing this.

I was informed last week at a match by a CRO that if a competitor asks me what the high hit factor or fastest raw time on a stage I’m ROing is, that I cannot provide this information. I asked him if this rule is in the rule book - he said it isn’t but it’s implicitly known in the USPSA community that competitors cannot ask for this information from ROs. Is this correct?
