He was actually a obc guy ( No hate to obc guys ik there are many far capable than me )with chemical engineering from IIT Kharagpur that too from 2009 when competition was less compared to today , plus he was rich . He then went for UPPCS and is currently at SDM post . He tells he got 1.2 cr package in 2009 , but left it for PCS .My elder father ( retired DM ) told me talk to him for no reason but to get some guidance , as he is pushing me to crack UPSC , just because he want to continue the so called legacy 🥀. The IITian to at first showed a very absurd response when I told him about my rank was 2810X , this year which is 98.23 percentile. He told me are ispe to bekar hai college lena , NIT allahabad to milega nhi . I told him am got PEC Chandigarh EE in round 2 , he told me yeah theek hi thak hai but not good as IITs ( I know this as well bitch ) . Then I told him I am looking for NIT Hamirpur or Jalandhar electrical in the subsequent rounds and even told that I put ECE as my first preference.

He just suddenly started saying arey kuda choices hai sab , Electrical lelo or civil services pd lag jao tab to kuch ho payega, wrna ECE mein acche package kewal IITs or top 3 NITs mein lagte or else tumko tcs ki 3 lpa ki naukri hi krni padegi . He told uske chote bhai ko usne IIT ( He didn't tell which ) civil karwaya tha ( He didn't tell usko baki koi branch mil bhi rhi thi ) and he is now an IAS (Reservation + BPL fake certification). I told mujhe Allahabad mein Biotech mil rhi thi but i put it later in my preference, he was like are you dumbass.

I just got so disheartened to see how such an elder man can demotivate a younger guy in this way in the face of showing me reality and not sugarcoating . I genuinely have intrest in VLSI and Semiconductor technologies but this mf now has ruined everything and I hv started doubting myself . I chose this ECE stream only for this or else , I was okay with NIT Srinagar CSE. My parents were so happy with me ( I Cracked it alongside a board oriented strict school , without any coaching and other expenses of students ) but this mf just ruined it all by these statements. Please whosoever is in the position to guide me , tell was he right or he was just a proudass reservation ragebaiter .

Actually, I am out of station, or meri counselling related work hai of UPTAC , mujhe kya needs hai please DM me , actually kisi ko wha jana padega , bhut important kaam hai , Jo koi bhi travel cost whatever aayega pay karne ko taiyaar hun , just please koi bas AKTU ke office mein chale jao. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I saw a guy promoting his yt channel and promoting is the wrong word he was asking for feedback. He genuinely makes quality content . He has been a 26tard as well . Now I saw that some class monitors naming it under the self promotion clause .

I mean man his is not asking for any money , he is neither asking you guys to purchase any course or counselling course of his , he is not just straightup uploading guidance strategies , my journey and all the Nishant jindal time waste type things . All he wanted was genuine feedbacks on his content. And still many had objections over it .

I mean man understand if someone is making certain content, devoting time in it , to bring out something betterment of yours and his as well , why the hell would be not want it to grow . And trust me not everyone is rich enough to promote channel through money and in this case reddit is the best place to find the community of people that actually need your content . No one is bothered to help you guys yaar , being a senior we all are moving up our ways now in our colleges, all we wanted was some support of yours for yours as well as our betterment (i accept it). But still I see some monitors on this sub i really feel disheartened.

Whats your opinion I am open to your opinions , as I don't see anything bad in promotion, show me the other side of picture I am ready for it 🙏🏻
