I’ve been trying to get my life together lately, but I’m having a hard time figuring out where to start.
There are a lot of things I want to work on like my career, money, habits, confidence, and just being more consistent with things. The problem is whenever I think about everything I need to fix, it gets overwhelming and I end up not knowing what to focus on first.
I know I’m not going to figure everything out overnight. I just don’t want to keep wasting time or feel like I’m going nowhere.
For anyone who’s been through something similar, what actually helped you?
What did you start doing differently? Or is there something you wish someone told you when you were at this point in your life?
Just looking for some genuine advice.
I’m 22F and my boyfriend is 24M. I was thinking about cutting my hair pretty short and showed him a picture just to see what he thought.
He immediately said he didnt like it and then told me he probably wouldnt date me anymore if I actually cut it that short 😭
Later he texted me saying he knows that was “maybe too much” but that he’s allowed to have preferences and he loves how my hair looks now.
I get having preferences, obviously. I dont expect him to love every hairstyle I choose. But saying you wouldnt date me anymore over HAIR just feels different??
Now he thinks I’m making him seem like a horrible person when he was “just being honest.”
Idk maybe I’m taking it too seriously but his comment has been bothering me ever since.
AIO?
Me and my roommate normally share stuff without any problems, but this time I feel like she took it a little too far.
AITA for making my roommate pay for the moisturizer she used up?
So me and my friend are also roommates and we’re both around the same age. We’re pretty close so sometimes we borrow each others stuff and normally I really dont care.
A few weeks ago I bought this moisturizer that I wanted to try. It wasn’t super expensive or anything but it also wasnt cheap, and I had literally just started using it.
My roommate asked if she could try some and I said yeah because I thought she meant like once or twice. After that I noticed she would use it sometimes but I didnt really say anything.
Then one day I went to use it and there was basically nothing left 😭 I was confused because theres no way I used it that fast. I asked her and she told me she had been using it pretty much everyday.
I got kinda annoyed and told her she should pay for a new one since she was the one who used most of it. She got annoyed too and said I already told her she could use it, so why am I suddenly making her pay for it.
But like... I said she could USE it, I didnt mean finish the whole thing lol.
Now things are a little awkward between us and idk if I’m being petty over moisturizer. I just feel like if you use up most of someone else’s stuff, you should at least replace it.
AITA?
