I know it’s been asked before but I’m not finding what I’m after in the sub. I have a gift certificate to Hobbii that I’m avoiding using (US based and not a fan of the AI stuff) but I haven’t found anything similar to their 8/4 Friends cotton here. I’m dying for more to make gifts for the upcoming Christmas season. Do I bite the bullet and order some or is there an alternative in the US in the same weight? All suggestions I find are thicker.

I knit and crochet beanies to donate to a local organization. I use mostly I Love This Yarn Prints as it is usually the most cost effective yarn off the approved list (I stock up when they do their semi-annual clearance sales at Hobby Lobby). This has left me with tons of leftovers in colors that just do not work together. I am not a huge acrylic fan for myself but I want to use up the 1/4 skeins I have leftover from making these hats. Does anyone know what I could make with them? Most colors have less than 1/2 leftover (less than 50 yards).

Hi there! I’ve been after CryBaby Perfume milk for years. I know it’s re-releasing eventually and I have dupes for it, however I’m trying to find something else from Portals Parfums. My go to perfumes for daily wear are Burberry Her and Lush’s Pansy Solid Perfume(I layer these). What could be similar in style to those? Thanks!

I am about halfway through a very large blanket made entirely out of Furls Wander yarn. I have enough yarn as of now, however I am worried about the boarder. I think I will have enough however I am looking for similar yarns just in case. I'm including the Ravelry listing for the yarn but I am hoping someone would know of something that looks and feels similar, in a similar or identical weight. Thank you!

Excuse my rambling. Fevers and no sleep here. I’m out of town for 4 days next week. Kiddos decided last Thursday was an amazing day to projectile vomit and gain fevers. I was off Friday because of it. Off Monday due to whatever that was becoming a head cold of sorts over the weekend and parents caught it too. I went to work yesterday. And now I have a fever too. I feel like it’s every time I have plans at this point some new plague shows up!

Hi there! I am currently working on my first pair of socks (started knitting in January to learn socks after crocheting for years)! I’m using the Rye pattern from Tin Can Knits and I really love it so far. My fiancé wants a pair in the same pattern. He even went out of his way to pick and purchase yarn for them. However, I’m having an issue with the sizing. He wears a size 13 shoe and the width of his foot is greater than 8.75” (which is what the large in the pattern is written for). How would I go about increasing size on this pattern for him? Thank you!

Hi there! Asking another needle question while I figure this all out.
I now have Lykke needles in both 3.5” and 5”. I prefer the 3.5”. Would there be a reason to hang onto the 5” ones or would I be okay to sell them to someone who would use them? The smaller needles just work better in my hands I have found, and while I can use the 5” ones, I reach for the 3.5” every time.

Just putting this out there to see if anyone would be willing to do this before I buy myself another set and post the 5” ones. I have a brand new set of 5” Lykke flights but I have found I like the 3.5” needles better. Looking to trade the 5” for 3.5” if possible. Looking for ones in good shape as mine are new with no use (just opened and put into the case). All parts too please.

Hi there! I don’t have children yet but my husband and I have a running list. Topping our boy names is Hudson. It flows well with the middle name we intend to use and our last time (which is a long hyphenated name). We just have one issue. His brother has two children, one of which is named Huxley. My in-laws worry the names are too similar. I don’t think they are. Husband is indifferent on this. He likes the name Hudson but he also doesn’t want to upset his brother. Am I overthinking this one or is it really too close to Huxley?

Suggestion and a rant about it because no one else I know plays or understands.

Suggestion: Add a toggle for Large Plot Gamepass. I will even PAY extra for it if I have to.

I build a lot. It is about all I do in this game, however I have a very specific building style. My builds are either cityscapes (the reason I purchased large plot) or incredibly modest 2 bedroom houses that are small and lived in looking. No in-between. I've been using hedge fences and such to section off my large plot back into that small 30x30 plot for years as I more frequently build the small houses. HOW IS THERE NOT AN OPTION FOR PLOT SIZE?!

Rant over. Thank you for listening lol. I'm hoping this gets added to the game eventually. Until then, my hedge walls will suffice.

I have a stylus. I picked one off amazon with a fine tip. I draw on an iPad outside of this game with little to no issue. WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT.
