What is going on with the Cascio situation? (Very weird)

For whatever reason they don't allow me to post in LNHBO so here I am asking this.

I just followed that link from Daphne with her sitting with Frank in a video. It was a very strange Instagram short. She said she loves Michael Jackson and she's happy the movie did well while Frank sat beside her saying nothing. The thing is, Frank looked awful! I don't mean his aging. But he looked incredibly distressed and very disturbed. I've seen him look unhappy and nervous in interviews before but not like this.

What the hell is happening? Now I believe the Cascios 100%. But why does it appear like they're doing so much worse? I have PTSD myself (I am diagnosed) but my attacks have gotten better with time. My good friend has PTSD as well and has a YouTube channel ("alifelearned") and has too improved though she still struggles.

To be honest, I am concerned for the Cascios genuinely. I've never seen people appear to be mentally deteriorating so many years after a trauma. They are WORSE than 2010 though I'm sure their denial was covering their pain at the time.

But I am concerned. There is a strangeness to this as with the weird video from Daphne. Why would she say she's happy about the biopic doing well with a traumatized victim sitting next to her? I can't understand

A warning about employment programs

I enrolled in a program a few years ago from second chance and it was honestly a scam. I sat with nine other disabled people in a room watching YouTube videos on a projector on "on how to get a job" and "mental resilience".

It took me a year later to discover that this program got money per person for who signed up (145 a person) but didn't actually do anything for the disabled people there. There wasn't any job placement or proper direction. "Resume writing" we were told to do our selves and to "watch YouTube" for that. If we had nothing to put on our resume we were told to go to a volunteer place to do free volunteer work. This also has a waiting list.

Sadly none of this less to employment opportunities. It was absolutely a scam.

I don't even know what to say other than please be aware of this. This is what third party employment agencies do since the 2018 cuts.

Why must we be traumatized?

I keep hearing we must have generational trauma to not want kids. I'm 36 and don't have generational trauma. No abuse. I just don't want kids. I enjoy my own life. I genuinely believe some people just lack a maternal instinct and I'm definitely one of them but it wasn't put there by a "trauma".

some people think differently than others. Is that really such a bad thing?

Is it possible he lied about his upbringing?

Two things lead me to believe this.

Recently I watched a video where a white man goes to Gary Indiana (video is called "YouTube lies about Gary" or something). He interviewed two older black men about what they thought about the city and if they ever met the Jackson's and they said they only knew of them. Another black man later on in the video said he knows one of the Jackson relatives.

He then showed this man a building which he said Joe Jackson used to own (a night club). This made me think the Jackson's didn't have quite the humble beginning they claimed. Looks like Joe owned a night club in Gary. The factory worker story may have been true at one point but it seems like he may have moved up earlier in terms of success prior to the California move.

I don't think Michael came from the type of poverty he claims. But the poor black family from rags to riches story sells and elicits sympathy.

The second dishonestly is the physical abuse. The second thing that lead me to believe this is J Randy Tarraborelli claims of MJ as a child being the "golden goose". He claims MJ refused to sing or perform unless he was treated the way he wanted to be and got his own way. Joe did Hit Michael at one time but MJ started making threats that he'd never perform again if Joe did this. The more famous little MJ became the more his parents actually worshiped at his feet. Not quite the abused child. from the accounts I've heard he was completely spoiled.

Why has the public turned on OSAP?

I meet all these people who say they don't care if it's cut or cancelled because there is fraud. You didn't see this attitude 17 years ago when I started Uni. Holy shit, our province is a disgusting place now. So many wannabe trumpers!

Why are people in this subreddit do mean?

I'm only making this post because I saw another post on odsp talking about what I already noticed.

What's wrong with this place?

The mean-ness is unacceptable. Why does this subreddit have such nastiness in it? Is it the recipients themselves angry, the workers or just creeps coming in to flog the poor?

Edit so* mean

Would he still be here without the trial?

His fans like to claim so and that the trial destroyed his finances but as I look into things I'm not so sure. It looks like he was ready broke by 2002. That may have even been his reason for doing that documentary special trying to get back into the public eye.

Let's say he never molested Gavin after the documentary. There was no trial. Let's pretend Gavin was not even in the documentary. Even without these events he would still be going into financial insolvency and still have had active addiction problems. He had overdosed according to his own family members before 2003 and had a narcan implant attempted (right? Dr farashian put it in).

I don't think things were going to go well. People wouldn't be calling him a pedophile as much but he'd certainly be seen as a has-been and a drug addict by the mid 2000's. New album? I don't think so. Invincible flopped badly in the U.S and I don't even think he wanted to try again. the album failing was humiliating all on its own.

Michaels treatment of James

It seemed unusually cold by the time he was finished with him.

Michael still molested boys after they became young men if you believe the Cascios. So getting rid of James and treating him like garbage couldn't have been just an aging out issue.

He was the only former victim that Michael threatened over the phone in 2005.

Exactly what was with this dynamic?

He seemed to resent James deeply.

I am truly disturbed by the extent of his crimes and behavior

He was whacko Jacko when I was growing up. I'm not some "fan" who's disturbed to discover the real him. I've known him as a Trainwreck always. I also knew he molested kids.

But get this, I did NOT now how many. I never knew about the threats, intimidation, kidnapping, drugging, that her threaten his own staff that they would be killed if they talked to the police. That he molested a whole family, that he broke up the relationship of another family (Chandler's) and ruined their lives. That he had a boy delivered to him at night during his worst scandal (Wade was dropped off).

I'm just in shock. I never knew it was this bad. Him being just "whacko Jacko" when I grew up actually helped him appear less threatening. Seeing him with a bandaged disintegrated nose, wearing surgical masks, hanging a baby out of the window and doing other strange things just made him seem almost like a comical character. Maybe even crazy. He became a side show almost. And the word "molest" was not gone into detail.

Back then that could of meant less serious things like kissing or touching. For some reason, in my youth, I honestly didn't think he'd go as far as penetration.

Maybe I was just really naive, but hearing about the actual details of the assaults is incredibly disturbing. The media even in 2005 wouldn't talk about the nature of the assaults. Just that he "molested" boys. Not one media out let spoke about the actual details of say the Jordan Chandler case involving his assaults. Some in the media just would say "oh, he touches kids".

Honestly, finding out the full extent of things is just beyond what I was prepared for. I also feel like the media even during his trial didn't do enough to go into details of exactly what he was accused of doing. I feel like it might have even been played down.

They should have never removed our diagnosis

Of course we're now branched under general ASD but it was a bad idea.

I got the diagnosis in 2007 at 17. Back then I joined the wrong planet support group forum online.

The reason why removing Asperger's was a bad idea is because people with Asperger's were unique in two ways. Our intelligence was spared and we had normal language acquisition skills. This is very unusual for the rest of the spectrum.

The majority of Autistic kids require some ABA type skills to learn communication and to be able to speak. Lots of Autistic children test low on IQ tests. Many fall below 70 on IQ tests. Even the ones that don't have an ID (intellectual disability) struggle with adaptive functioning. While people with Asperger's can definitely have executive function issues that impacts adaptive functioning it is NOT to the level of the more typical Autistic person.

99% of people with Asperger's have never recieved or required ABA and we all scored above 70 on an intelligence quotient. most of us do not struggle with basic needs or survival skills. to throw us into the same exact category with Autism was a mistake.

Why was he never put in a conservatorship?

Based on Howard's Stern books and meeting Michael he seemed like a severely mentally ill person during that encounter. In the documentary with Martin Bashir he seems really bad off mentally.

Did he not get put in one because his lawyers fought it?

Why are so many Canadian men in incel communities?

Usually young men and a few middle aged ones with a chip on their shoulder possibly from having had a bad hand in life (something not right with their looks).

Why is this such an issue in our country? I'm not looking to mock the issue, I want to understand it.

Did he try to get certain fathers out of the picture?

There is evidence that he did this with Evan Chandler. He tried to convince June that Evan was rotten and to get complete custody of Jordan. You can read about it in the Magic and the madness book.

However, I wonder if Gavin's dad was taken out in another way by MJ. MJ could not molest Gavin when David was around. The narrative is that David Arvizo was abusive and arrested but according to the hair stylist Carl Lamere (spelling?) she began romantic involvement with David Arvizo. Yes, you read that correctly. MJ was also very friendly with David according to some sources suggesting he should leave his wife because their marriage wasn't working.

Please look into this for yourselves. I was shocked too.

I genuinely believe he got or tried to get certain Dads out of the picture.

What is it with all the psychopaths in Canadian subreddits?

Ontarioworks, Ontario, multiple city subreddits. I am in tears reading the comments. Ontarioworks has multiple commenters coming in there to bully the poor.

Maybe I'm wasting my tears. Are these real people? Some of them must be but Canadian subreddits seem to skew unusually conservative with insane conservative beliefs when reddit over all is not that conservative.

Please, let me hear your thoughts.

I hope I haven't been crying about AI bots being mean.

Disabled people are starving to death, freezing to death in homeless camps and dying over all in Ontario. Does anyone in this subreddit care?

I haven't seen any activism on the part of the left in this province regarding that and it's depressing. In my mid sized town the housing wait list has gone up to 17 years for a single person, many of which are disabled. The disabled without family to take them in are left to die.

I'm disabled myself but not on ODSP. I love with a family member and work part time.

Please bring awareness to this issue. I can not ignore it or refuse to speak out on it any longer.

edit: this is the only subreddit I can post this on as reddit Ontario will block or remove my post. they did it before on an older account.

there is a genocide happening RIGHT now in this province.

Life as an unattractive women just sucks

36 and never dated. No man will even touch me with a stick. I'm a genuinely unattractive women. I've grieved this before but sometimes I make myself go numb other times like today I feel sorrow. The worst part is I have no control over being alone. Other woman can choose to be alone or choose to have a partner. I can't.

Life as a single woman is expensive, I worry over losing my apartment and what will happen to me if I can't work. I had a health scare last year and it caused me to go through a lot of savings.

I'm not awarded an privileges because I have nothing to offer visually so society gives me no sympathy.

Life really does suck. Why did I even get these looks? I will never understand.

Want to transition in Guelph

I'm an adult woman who wants to transition. What resources are there to do this and how long will it take?

I don't think I've ever liked being female. I'm also only same sex attracted.

Townhomes are going for 850,000 in Cambridge Ontario

These are units over 20 years old as well. The oldest units in this city are former government housing units over 50 years old and they go for 4000K to 6000K.

Cambridge is a Podunk town. There are jobs. There are homeless camps here with people on a 20 year wait for public housing.

Terrible situation.
