SBGG and Reiseausweis für Ausländer as a non-EU citizen

Hallo zusammen!

I hope posting in English is okay.

For context I am a non-eu citizen who will be studying my master in Germany, My home country do not allow the changing of name or gender.

Could I even utilize SBGG and Reiseausweis to live my life in my affirmed identiy in germany and in EU? (work, banking, EU Travel, rental contracts............etc)

If anyone have done this before with success would be great if you could share too <3

I have only done my research online and using Ai, would really love a German perspective on this.

TU Darmstadt Master of Architecture WiSE 2026 File moving kinda fast

Used Sedruck.de for printing my doc and sent to TUda by UPS.

Electronically submitted - 17th June,2026

Antrag wird gepruft - 05th July, 2026

Antrag Im Fabereich - 06th July 2026

since my file moves really fast could i get admission just as fast?

I sent them everything including copies of official degree certificate, transcripts, CV , Motivatiion letters

Anyone applying for M.sc Architektur too?

Does GPA matter that much for Master in Architecture?

Since Architecture evaluation is kinda holistic, will high GPA help or great portfolio matters more in germany.

If anyone can share me their admitted portfolio it would help a lot.

I applied to various Master programs (english) with a GPA of 1.2 (Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies_ 3 years).

IELTS 7.0 (C1 level)

Got into the University of Toronto M.Arch program but IRCC rejected my visa.

my top choices are below:

  1. TU Darmstadt
  2. KIT
  3. Hochschule Wismar
  4. DIA (Dessau)
  5. Berlin International Uni of applied sciences

I was gonna apply to TU Berlin M-Arch-T, but they do not offer this year WiSe intake.

I have an architectural internship experience combined of 4 months.
