i dont have a civic but,

credit to the honda civic guys, i broke down in my obs chevy kindof out in the sticks, i had a leaking oil line for the cooler i could patch it up no problem. and a guy in a red 99 civic pulls up and drives me to the orileys near by to get hose clamps and a new barb fitting.

i kindof officially want a civic now, bcus the community irl is very nice.

clutch pedal bracket 1988- 1995 solutions?

manual swap working out the kinks. putting on finishing touches..

nv4500 from behind 6.5 1992 obs 2500. put into 1991 gmc k1500 spicy heads cam all that bs.

she runs good, gets up and out of her own way when i ask her to.

has anyone done something better than, self tappers to hold the top corner of the clutch pedal bracket up into the dash, are there any known products that let a guy bolt it in?

because i went to start the truck in reverse, i had parked on a hill. and i was holding the clutch down as far as i could, but the engine wouldnt spin up fast enough to fire over, ( it made an unhappy noise coming out of reverse and fired right up in neutral right after)

when i hit the clutch i think the bracket is bending down bcus my self tappers fell out, and its not allowing the full travel/ and label to ruin my 2100$ transmission rebuild,

thanks gmt400 community as always

one piece rear main seal

i know its got a one piece rear main seal , and pulling the transmission isnt a big hurdle for me. but just wondering what yall do. ive never done the rear main in this truck bcus ive never needed to. its a 1991.

this is the same '91 ive posted about before. did a manual swap in, studded the aluminum heads. i guess when the manual finally went * k-shunk* an went in, the rear main got upset. either way do yall use rtv on the rear main, or do yall go in dry? is there little pry points on this like its a vortech or not? thanks

co worker stealing tools.

im dealing with a thief in the shop.

first it was a pair of klein strippers, then the company provided icon allen/torx kit, so i buy one of my own, write my initials on it in big yellow letters, after this weekend its gone.

there is a weekend crew that i havent talked much with, and there are guys on other shifts that i know pretty well. 3 of which think its one singular guy. kind of guy that watches netflix on the clock. some of the guys on the other shifts come in on weekends for extra hours. including mr nexflix.

is this a go straight to the supervisor or hr, type thing, or is it a, set up a camera and get proof, thing? ive spent upwards of 80$ replacing tools that have been stolen. including the new kit i got just to use as bait.
