Obviously LAT, OpTic & Faze are the prohibitive favorites for T3. M8s have become a clear T4.

Do u guys see anyone with a shot to upset one of those 4 teams and make it to Saturday night?

Koi once looked like one, but let Joe go. Falcons showed flashes at times, but now it's hard to believe they do anything on short notice. Heretics have been so underwhelming all year.

G2 at times looked close, but then bombed out of Major 4.

This means both want more money than they are being offered & think the arbitrator will rule in favor of them right ? Or am I way off lol.

I'm happy they declined. Personally not a big Bourque fan and a 1st+3rd seems expensive.

It's been mostly a positive reaction to Foerster's extension, but I have seen some hating on it (no problem what that) & saying it's way too much but I feel that's only being said because everyone's # feels a bit big with the cap going up.

He's taking up 6.83% of the cap... In 2023-2024 6.83% of the cap was 5.7 per. That sounds a whole lot better right?

24-25 it would've been 6 per on the dot & just this past season it would've been 6.5 per.

This is an extremely fair deal for the Flyers with serious room for it to be a bargain. He's always graded out as one of the better 2way wingers in the league, but in only his 2nd NHL season he scored 25 goals & 41 points. Before he got hurt he was on pace for a 37 goal season in his 3rd NHL season!

Obviously he's gotta stay healthy & show that those 30GP last year weren't a fluke but this was a really good bet by Briere & Co.

Really hope we outbid that but he chose them over us and not that we didn't wanna offer that much.

Pierre LeBrun said today CBJ wants more of a now package than a futures which is why I said Bump instead of a Luchanko or Nesbitt.

This is probably their best shot at getting a true #1 D & I think they know it which is why the insiders keep saying we are being uber aggressive in talks with cbj

Edit: keep in mind Werenski has 2 years left on his deal and who knows if he's like Larkin/Tkachuk and will only sign with TBL/FLA/VGK/MIN etc.

Seems like we are very much for real in the pursuit of him. I fear that there's no shot we can get someone like him without giving up Michkov.. but at the same time werenski is an all world player..
