Mom was recently diagnosed with mild chronic leukemia

She was diagnosed when she had an elevated white blood cell count when she was getting blood work done. This was about 3 weeks ago. Out of 10 symptoms researched she has about 2 of them. She is 66 and otherwise in relatively good health. I’m just hoping my mom will be okay and still have a normal lifespan or relatively normal lifespan ahead of her and not progress into something worse. Any advice or thoughts is appreciated.

Unable to renew mortgage (serious problem)

So the house I live in was previously my grandparents house and the mortgage is under there name. They both passed away about 6 years ago. I’ve been paying the mortgage since as they said I could inherit the house when they were gone. This problem just came out of nowhere but the bank is complaining. They can’t seem to put it under my name because my income for the past 3 years is off the books. (Unreported) they won’t renew it in my aunts name because she doesn’t make enough $ ($22/hr). So now I might have to move out soon. There’s a lot of stuff in the house, I have access to a truck but would likely still need a U haul. Getting rid of all the clothes and furniture and whatever else would likely take 2 or 3 days. This all came out of nowhere and I’m wondering what my options are or if there’s some kind of loophole out of this mess of a situation.

Scrap value of washer and dryer?

I have a washer and dryer just sitting in my backyard. They are both broken as I got them replaced with new ones that are better. I was thinking of just taking them to the landfill as I’m not sure they are worth much at a scrapyard, maybe $40 or $50 bucks for both of them?

Won $250 on Monopoly 50X!

50 times $5.00=$250! Nice win. I said no way as soon as I uncovered the 50x. 50 times $50 would have been nicer but it’s a decent win I’ll take it. This was my 6th or 7th time playing this ticket.

Height in regards to learning how to dunk

I’m 6’3. My arms are also relatively long. In my mind there is no reason I shouldn’t be able to learn to dunk yet. I haven’t measured my vertical jump but it definitely needs some work. I could probably add 4-6 inches to it at least. I feel like I really gotta focus on strengthening the ever living shit out of my legs. Like start really going hard on the leg press machine and squats consistently. I really wanna learn badly. I’m good at hooping but I still haven’t learnt how to dunk. Any advice is appreciated.

Always pay it forward. Gave a kid a ball today.

There was a Filipino kid playing at my local today. He asked if he could use my ball to shoot, I said sure I’ll catch your rebounds. Was wearing some puma Melos I could tell he really had a passion for hooping. Was probably only 8 or 9 yrs old. We took turns shooting and I thought shit this kid needs his own ball. Not sure if his parents have the means of getting him one or not, for all I know maybe he doesn’t have any. But I remember being that kid at one point, growing up and not really having much. So I said stay here I’ll bring you a ball you can keep. Drove to my place grabbed an old Wilson ball in decent shape that I haven’t used in months, drove back to the gym. Never seen a kid so happy and grateful. I definitely made his week, maybe his year for all I know

Community Mailbox issue?

Had a package delivered today (checked the tracking number) for a pair of shoes. Obviously the shoes can’t fit into the regular mail slot, so they put it into the 1A compartment on the bottom that’s bigger. The issue is they left the 1A tag in my regular mailbox slot but there is no key attached to it so it’s just a tag so I’m unable to access the bigger compartment where my shoes are sitting. They are expensive shoes so I’d like to get them soon, tomorrow ideally. should I just go to the Canada Post main office in my city and tell them about the issue? I left a note in my mailbox saying there’s no key. In my area they are usually pretty good but maybe the carrier is a new person or was just rushing and forgot.

Thought I won 10k or a travel trip but says non winning when scanned?

Check rule number 6 on picture attached. I played the game correctly. I uncovered 3 planes on the game board. Should I contact the lottery office or the place I bought the ticket from?

Nike KD18 making ankles hurt a bit/stiff?

I got them 2 days ago. The shoes felt fine at first but now my inside ankle on my right foot and my outside ankle on my left foot have started to hurt a bit. Not sure why. Maybe because the material on the outside is stiffer. Never had ankle issues or any serious ankle injuries. Any thoughts or advice appreciated

Transmission fluid change

What transmission fluid does the 2010 3.8 take? How often should it be changed? Is it a big deal to be running the same transmission fluid for awhile?

Most of my wins have been free tickets, $20, $50 a handful, $100. I’ve yet to win more than that, though I play lower denomination tickets like $2-5$ tickets and $10 tickets here and there too. Even winning a few grand, or 10k would be pretty nice. Odds are incredibly low to win millions at once but still a chance however small it might be. There’s also the chance a lot of us continue to play the lottery and never win big. Regardless it’s still cheap entertainment and a Big Mac meal at McDonald’s is a lot unhealthier.
