At night time, there are always these big color banding circles on dark textures that follow the camera movement. It looks like a broken fog effect on smaller textures but on bigger textures you can see that its a big foggy circle that has multiple layers. Its not visible if its daytime ingame. I dont have this problem in other Team Ninja games like Nioh 3 or Wo Long.
... so how come Nioh 1 and Nioh 2 both had three separate DLCs for 9,99€ each (so lets say 30 per game) or 24,99 for the season pass - (so about 5€ cheaper when you buy the package. Pretty good deal.) with all new main stages, new side missions, new NG+ levels etc
But now for Nioh 3 they want 39,99€ for a Season Pass with two DLCs? That means each separate DLC is 20€. Thats double the price. Will it also come with double the amount of content? Because i kind of doubt that. Doesnt this price tag seem a little greedy if we keep in mind that you can get new games like Wuchang, Khazan, Clair Obscur, Mortal Shell 2 for 49,99€ on release day? Thats only 10€ more than the Nioh 3 Season Pass (which probably only comes with two new regions)
So far this doesnt sound like a great deal at all.
I noticed this visual problem that only happens when i'm in a umbral zone. It does not happen whenever i'm in the normal zones. I can see this gradient line on the ground and walls in front of my character. Happens mostly in very dark spots but only while in a umbral zone. I'm playing on PS5 in HDR.
Windows 11 Home 23H2 (Win main updates manually blocked because i'm using a WD Black SN770 2TB SSD and it needs a firmware update in order to work with newer Win 11 versions but i dont want to install it)
Since yesterday my Microsoft Store is trying to download and install a new version of WinAppRuntime.Singleton but it always fails with a generic Something went wrong message (no error code, it only shows the something went wrong message when i click on the error).
Doesnt matter if i restart my PC or if i close all of the optional apps and browsers - same error message. But this only happens with this one app update, it does not happen with other Microsoft Store app updates. All of the other store app updates that were available yesterday and today worked fine. The Microsoft Store itself works fine.
Windows doesnt show any warnings, errors, problems in the Reliability Monitor. On the WinAppRuntime.Singleton store info page it says the latest installed update is from July 9 2026 and on the Windows app info page it says the app is from June 13 2026. Closing or repairing WinAppRuntime Singleton via the advanced app options doesnt help.
So basically everything on the PC says that everything works fine but for whatever reason the MS Store is refusing to download and install this one update. There were dozens of WinAppRuntime Singleton Store updates in the past and it was never a problem. This is the first time this happened.
What can i do about this?
For context, i'm playing on the hardest difficulty as a two handed melee class with a bit of magic healing and i'm using Gomez ore armor+ Uriziel and / or Gomez sword + strength on max. I'm also using the strongest rings and amulet in terms of extra strength and weapon dmg. Character level 28. No learning points left. So theres literally nothing more i can do in terms of raw melee weapon dmg and armor protection. I can basically kill everything in the normal open world with 2-4 hits and it takes a lot of enemies at the same time to kill me. I literally tanked all of the guards and named NPCs of the inner circle in the old camp in chapter 5 and survived.
Now i'm walking into chapter 6 (final main dungeon) and the scaling and placement of the new enemies is just bs. Suddenly my dmg output isnt enough anymore and at the same time i cant tank dmg anymore. I'm playing a completely different game.
In one single room theres a sorcerer enemy who spawns in skeletons even tho i'm already attacking him (my first hit always misses because for the casting he goes 30 cm up into the air), then there are two other skeletons in this room (+ the three spawned in skeletons) and then it also triggers two undead orcs (there are four in this room). Which means i'm just going to get staggered into oblivion. All of them are attacking at the same time. For context, a single one of these undead orcs can already kill me with about 3-4 hits. Its like my armor doesnt even exist. 30 minutes ago i was able to wipe out a whole camp with 40 people, now i cant even survive because of two undead orcs.
Now how exactly am i supposed to kill two of these while also handling like five skeletons and then i also have to rush the sorcerer in the beginning? This is impossible to dodge or parry. Even when i'm doing group combo dmg to all of them with swinging left and right, it doesnt stagger them, which means the undead orcs are tanking the hits and i'm dead. When i perfect parry one of the undead orcs, the other one is just going to kill me in the meantime. The game also doesnt register some of my hits, for example when i have one undead orc locked in as a target and the other one is in front of them, my thrust attack goes through the enemy in the front and doesnt do any dmg. Ok, lets try the Kill The Undead spell - it does like 45% dmg to the undead orcs and it doesnt stop or stagger them, so they will just rush me after one hit and i'm dead. And i can already see that the same thing goes on and on in the next rooms in front of me. I cant even kite the enemies back to the orc guards, because the undead orcs are just going to kill all of them.
This whole enemy placement and dmg scaling is just artificial generated difficulty to stretch the finale. The difficulty was totally fine for the whole game up onto this point. It was possible to kill high level enemies by learning the attack patterns, do some perfect dodges, do some perfect blocks, improve your skills by learning and trying. Even without the best weapon and armor. But now in chapter 6, this just elite enemy group spam with ridiculous dmg output scaling. I refuse to believe that somebody playtested this.
So how come we still dont have any kind of info about frame rate targets and resolution and stuff like that on console? The Gothic Remake doesnt even have a PS5 Pro tag in the ps store. Is it a 30 fps game with no options? Does it have a performance mode? Is it using PSSR 2.0 on PS5 Pro? Theres also zero preview console footage. The game release is in 4 days. Shouldnt they have released this type of information like a month ago?
Hello,
i'm just a amateur road bike driver who mainly drives for fun. I have a Giant road bike, model from 2018 i think, but only used in summer / good weather and it has a full Shimano 105 set installed. It has two gears in the front and eleven in the back + half gears / trimm function. And overall changing gears works fine in terms of speed and noise. There is no delay while changing gears, no rattling sound etc. Its flawless in that regard i would say.
But for whatever reason, its making a weird noise when the chain is on the big gear in the front and right in the middle gear in the back. So when the chain is completely straight between the front and the back. It does not appear when i'm driving slowly but the faster i get in this gear, it starts to sound like clock ticking noises and the sound comes from the back. So as i'm pedalling faster and faster, it makes a small metallic sounding tick-tick, ... tick-tick, ... tick-tick noise with every full pedal rotation. But the sound vanishes as soon as i change into a higher or lower gear.
I dont really understand where the sound is coming from and why does it only appear in this straight middle gear? Its not a constant rubbing sound or something like that, its not the same sound as when a bike tries to shift gear but cant do it, its also not super loud but it is there. Its just this metallic tick-tick sound. The chain isnt rubbing against the front derailleur and its not rubbing against the derailleur hanger. Its sounds more like ... the cassettes teeth in that gear have a problem with catching / spinning the chain or something like that.
I tried cleaning the cassettes teeth in that specific gear and cleaning the chain and then put new lube on it but it didnt change anything. Is there anything else i can try?
