Help me choose which laptop is worth buying !

Hello guys, I wanted to buy a laptop and came across this two in two different shops, I need some guidance figuring out which one is better(you can see the characteristics of each one in the photos + they are occase) here are some questions I would like to get answers to :

1/ isn't the acer aspire vero a little bit overpriced since it is already used ? Or I am wrong. I just don't want to be be overlooking other good opportunities so can I find a pc with the same characteristics below this price ????

2/ the second is hp elitebook I like it because it has 16 gb of ram, good CPU and is more affordable for me (84000 DA )but it downside is the storage, I would like at least 512 gb of ssd , though the owner of the shop told me that he can add more storage...etc

3/ Do you have any other recommendations ? can I find a second had pc with at least 16 gb de ram, highly performative cpu and 512gb of ssd with a budget below 12 millions.

Give me your opinion, which one should I go for ?? Any guidance or advice would be highly appreciated !

Is it still required to submit our bac diploma and transcripts in the administration of the uni ?

Hi everyone, just as the title says do we still have to go through that ? I came across a video on Facebook in which there was a woman saying that it's better to scan both the documents and authentificate them because we're not gonna be able to retrieve the original ones once submitted in the administration... can you please guys tell me whether it's true because I am planning on going abroad before graduation.

Wanting to switch to finance

I chose AI as my major, and while I'm happy with that decision, I've recently realized that finance has always been an area I've genuinely enjoyed and been drawn to.

It's made me wonder whether I should have pursued finance instead, but I'm not looking to dwell on that. Instead, I'm curious about the opportunities ahead.

Is it possible to break into finance with an AI degree? Has anyone here made that transition or built a career that combines both fields? I'd love to hear about your experiences. Thanks in advance !

Seeking insights about AI engineering

Hello guys,

I'm a recent high school graduate, and I've chosen to major in AI because I'm genuinely fascinated by the field and want to build a strong understanding of it.

I'd love to hear from people who are currently studying AI or working in this domain

1/ If you've already graduated, what do you do now? What's your current role?

2/ What does your day to day work actually look like?

3 /What are the biggest challenges of being an AI engineer? What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you wish you had known before entering the field?

I'm looking for honest insights the good, the bad, and everything in between. Thanks in advance!

Esi or Ensia ? Help me decide !

Hello eveyone,

I got my bac exam this year, and thankfully I got the grade I wanted. Right now I must decide what to put as a firt choice in the preinscriptions, and I just can't seem to reach a final decision whether I want to go to esi or to ensia, this undecisiveness is due to these facts:

1-I have a dream to go and study abroad and build a life there so esi here seems more suitable but still studying abroad isn't quite easy to accomplish provided that I must study and get a part time job to fund myself which can be physically and mentally draining(I am afraid that I'll go into severe depression ), so in this case a scolarship is the best thing that can happen to me, but am I sure that it will come my way ? Definitely no..but I have a feeling that there would be good opportunities.... So the problem is how can I choose esi and leave ensia with all its privileges when I don't have a plan yet on how to go abroad which would have been a good enough reason to go to esi.

2 ensia seems very attractive to me escepecially because it has parternerhips with foreign universities, high quality education and and focuses on pushing students to launch their startups, if there weren't that presidential decree I would have chosen it straight out. With this said decree if I decide to go to this school I will first sign a contract that I will stay in the county for 5yers working in state companies ...etc, and the thing that I am afraid of is finding myself five years ahead doing a job that literally doesn't at all honor the hard work I put in during my studies, like I don't know what to expect provided that Algeria is very far from technological development and I don't know whether AI is something that even exists here، so definitly I'll be forced to do some demeaning job that isn't worth half the studies I've made. Please correct me if I am wrong in this, maybe I am all wrong and that there is good compagnies that need from AI engineers to apply their knowlewge and pay them well in return. This choice can be a good one to reach my goal of going to stay abroad because those five years of work will allow me to gather enough money to get comfortable once I get abroad, but I don't think that this constitutes an efficient road map, and I am not very convinced about it since I would rather go abroad at a much younger age adding the uncertainty surrounding the job....etc

Guys I really really need to get some orientation, because in order to make the right choise I must get very informed and know what expect.

Can you tell me where can I discuss this subject and talk to people who have first hand experience ?

Thanks in advance, any advice or guidance would be highly appreciated.

Wanting go find out more about ensia as a high school graduate

hello everyone,

I am a high school graduate, i got a good grade at my bac, and i am quite interested in AI and CS, the thing made me consider going to ensia, but before making a final decision about that i need first to clear up some points and to hopefully get answers to some questions from students that are currently studying in this school and those that graduated from there.

1\\\\ i am very interested in knowing what is your general opinion of this school ?

2\\\\ does this school have partenerships with other unis and schools abroad ? and is there exchange programs in place where you get to go and study for a determinate period of time abroad or else do internships ? and have you ever heard of scolarships that have been given there ?

3\\\\ speaking of of the decree stating that every graduate from the pole has to work for five years in the country, do u guys think that it is just a matter of time before it would be canceled ? and does this rule also apply to students that havent finished studies , i mean don't they have the right to do les démarches to go to foreign unis (in their facebook group there isn't a consensual answer to this, everyone is saying his own thing )

4\after graduation will you be employed by national companies only ? what about multinationals ? and most importantly will you been highly paid ?

Please respond, i really need to hear from people with firsthand experience.

Thanks in advance, any feedback or advice would be highly appreciated.

Is there any good scolarships for students that have just earned their bac ?

Hello everyone,

I’m a recent high school graduate, and I passed my baccalaureate exam with an excellent grade. I’m hoping to continue my studies abroad, so I’m looking for information about scholarships available for students like me.

If you know of any scholarships or have any advice on where to apply, I’d really appreciate your help.

Thanks in advance!

Help me decide !

Hi everyone,

I'm an undergraduate student (passed my bac this year), and I'm completely torn between specializing in Finance or IT. I genuinely find both fields interesting and would be willing to commit to either one, but ultimately I have to make a choice.

In your opinion, which field is better in terms of:

Long-term relevance and job market demand

Variety of career paths and job opportunities

Earning potential and financial freedom

I'd especially appreciate hearing from people who work in either field or have experience with both. What would you choose if you were starting over today, and why?

Thanks in advance!
