Hi seniors, I'm getting EE (JOSAA round 2)...and my dilemma is gaming vs normal laptop. Gaming is really good for performance and running heavy coursework related software during 2nd/3rd year. But normal laptops are lighter and I'm not sure whether I need DGPUs. Please help me resolve this. Thank you!

First of all, I want to let you know that r/iitkgp banned me for 200 days when I made a post asking KGPians about the suicides which is an EXTREMELY BAD starting point.
I got kgp EE in both mock rounds. However, I've been seeing a lot of posts about the suicides in kgp lately - be it the digital media or reddit. Also people keep complaining about the corruption and antipathy of the management. KGPians always 'defend' it, saying 'ye toh sab IIT me hota hai'. (Now, this is solely my opinion) That is true, but not even close to the extent it has been happening in kgp - at least according to media + reddit.
Just wanted to know your thoughts on this and whether this should affect my josaa order (because it is a point of concern). I really need help so please don't delete this mods
