Trying to find new people to chill with, ideally people interested (or familiar) in development [read]

So I've been on VRC for a long time now and after having taken a long break I have been needing to find some new people to chill with. I have a bunch of experience in making avatars and worlds with Unity and am more than willing to take time helping others with learning as I know the curve is intimidating and tutorials sometimes are misleading or do not actually explain how stuff actually works.

As a developer I love to see what's possible and I feel there are way too many cases of people giving the Quest versions of everything a worse quality version so I have spent a long time in learning all the ways to push the limits of what is possible on Quest. (Like the image above was taken from a Quest 2 and you can see it features reflections!)

Anyways um so if anyone out there is ever interested in learning or maybe you also are looking for some new people to chill with, hit me up. Too many people out here trying to monetize what I see as just helping other people. Even if you have never thought about making content before, or lack the hardware to do so, I'd still love to invite you to have a look at what I'm developing as I've been trying to find playtesters but feel it's kinda weird going to random people and asking them.

Feel free to DM me here, and my VRC and Discord username is McDudeMan if you wanna hit me up on there.

This isn't a generic looking for friends post, as I am actually trying to offer help to anyone that has had any interest in Unity or learning to create, which is why I posted here as it isn't asking for help but offering and I'm not looking for any form of compensation.

GoldenEye VR - Weapon Showcase #1

Hey guys! After a bit of a wait, I present to you the first weapon Showcase video showing a lot of cool stuff. I will have a second one coming to you next week as well with some more as I did not want to make this a long video.

The weapons feature recoil and degrading accuracy.

Since there is no way to replicate the original zoom inside of VR for the sniper, I instead opted for a virtual scope on the gun itself.

Some quick answers to possible questions:

• I am still working on the shell casing ejects.

• There *are* tracer rounds but in VR they seem to be very hard to see and am working on making them more visible without slowing them down to a weird speed.

• Dual wielding works but the ammo counter only displays the clip on the gun that is actively firing. If you fire both guns it may flip around, but each gun does have its own clip.

As always let me know your feedback and thoughts.

Logo is a work in progress but I thought it looked pretty good.

- had to repost because for some reason the audio got cut off
