Where is the best place to view the eclipse in Wexford tonight?

Hiya, looking for a bar for Wednesday night in Waterford city - either a gay bar or somewhere with pop music for a bit of a dance or some live trad!

I’ve been learning Spanish on and off for a few years. The same cycle happens each time - get close to a B1 level, something happens to discourage me (e.g when I visited Mexico and I couldn’t understand anyone) and I stop my practice, dropping back down to an A2. Then I have to start building it back up again.

Recently I’ve been really focusing and putting a lot of effort into my practice, more weekly hours than I’ve ever spent on it and I could see myself moving back up to a B1 level again. However today in my group Spanish class the teacher paired me up with someone who really struggles to speak and would probably be around a weak A2 level “because we were the same level”. This bummed me out so much. I don’t like to compare myself to others but I really thought I was coming along well and to be told that my level is still so beginner was such a kick in the teeth. I hope it was just because we were both the weaker students in the class (which was B1/B2 level) but I can feel the doubt creeping in again. I always struggled with languages, they were my weakest subjects in school and I feel like I have to work extra hard to make any progress.

Does anyone else relate?

Has anyone done this G Adventures trip and can give me an insight into what it was like, particularly about the travel between places, was it long and did you feel like you had enough time in each place?

Also interested to know if anyone did this trip and also did the add on hike to Acatanengo Volcano. It seems it's not an overnight hike and I guess just up and down in the one day which is kind of disappointing because I would love to see the volcano at sunrise! Any experiences here would be very helpful :)

I'm 33F, a native English speaker and seeing a Spanish exchange partner hopefully longterm. I enjoy chatting about all subjects and in my spare time I like to read, watch TV series and go to the gym. I love travel and I'm hoping to spend a few months in Madrid later this year to really help with my Spanish speaking.

I'm at a B1 level although I'm out of practice with speaking so that could be around A2 until I brush up! I'm happy to exchange all levels of English or if there's something specific you need to improve your english for (e.g a job interview etc) then I can help with that.
