I kinda entered my airplane phase want to watch more airplane movies. But with the caveat that the plane has to play a central role, not just happening to be the place where the plot happens.

So no Airplane! but stuff more like Top Gun, Iron Eagle etc.

To a certain degree also Pearl Harbor and Independence Day because the air combat scenes are just awesome in those movies and they make up a significant part of the story.

Recently I watched Firefox (1982) because I thought it would be a cool plane movie. More like a boring spy thriller up until the plane actually shows up in the last 20 or so minutes... so nothing like that please :)

Pretty much what the title says. I only booked hotels, never a car. But there are some nice prices for my next vacation, so I want to book there.

Although I disabled the roaming clock it still shows home and local time on the AOD.

Is there another way to actually turn it off, or only show it if I'm actually in a different country?

I mostly use firefox on my computer for reddit. Since a week or two I noticed that whenever I type : ) (without a blank space) or different smileys it automatically makes a smiley graphic out of it.... Why? Can I turn this off? Or is this a firefox thing? I haven't found settings for both cases...

Mein Vater ist in Rente und hat neuerdings Pflegestufe 3. Hat uA Diabetes und leichte Demenz.

Meine Mutter hat noch ein Jahr bis zur Rente. Neben der Arbeit kümmert sie sich um ihn.

Ich wohne gut 70 km entfernt.

Sie versucht sich so gut es geht um ihn zu kümmern.

Er macht nichts. Nichts. Weder im Haushalt, noch um seine Situation zu verbessern. Weniger (Süßigkeiten) essen? Nö. Sich mal bewegen? Nö. Er hat einen Rollator verschrieben bekommen weil er ja so Schmerzen hat. Steht nach einem Monat noch immer ungenutzt rum. Mal den Geist anstrengen um den Geist am Laufen zu halten? Nö. Alles was er macht ist schlafen, sitzen, fernsehen, essen, snacken. Und meiner Mutter aufn Sack gehen. Offenbar hat er auch mehrere Ticks entwickelt. Natürlich streitet er das alles ab wenn ich dabei bin. Aber ich glaube da eher meiner Mutter. Sie sagt er versuche sie ständig zu kontrollieren. Kaum ist sie wach heisst es "mach dies, mach das, guck mal ich hab hier was an der hand" etc. Benimmt sich oft wie ein stures Kind.

Das macht meiner Mutter so zu schaffen das ich gestern von ihr gehört hab "ich geh nicht mehr zum Arzt. Wenn es vorbei ist hab ich das scheiß Leben endlich hinter mir" und "wär ich damals vor der Hochzeit bloß abgehauen".

Zum Psychologen krieg ich beide nicht, habs angesprochen.

Ihn einweisen lassen geht wohl nicht weil er nicht dement genug ist, freiwillig in ein Heim geht er nicht. In seinem Weltbild wollen ihn alle nur verarschen, auf fremde Leute hören? Ausgeschlossen.

Meine Angebote ihn zu den Ärzten zu fahren damit sie das entlastet will sie auch nicht annehmen. Mal nen Tag mit ihr weg gehen? Da ist sie nicht in Stimmung für.

Allein lassen kann sie ihn nicht, er ist kaum lebensfähig wenn er allein ist. Als er noch nicht gut eingestellt war hat er diversen Scheiss gemacht und fast die Bude abgefackelt. Aber bei ihm bleiben macht sie fertig. Eine Pflegekraft nehmen wird wegen seiner Einstellung katastrophal enden.

Ich fühl mich absolut scheisse, das ich da nichts tun kann. Was könnte ich noch tun? Akzeptieren das beide erwachsen sind? Abwarten bis das Diabetes sich drum kümmert? Ich weiß echt nicht weiter...

I noticed recently that my s25 ultra camera sems to not be properly alignee with the horizon. If I rotate it so the indicator says its horizontal the resulting image is a bit slanted.

Can this be recalibrated?
