I recently found this sub and I wanted to ask if anyone hates her CHARACTER alongside the blatent bias Netease gives her

Shes a K-Pop Star Everyone likes, including her music, except like Emma

All her interactions are mostly people glazing her music, including like Star Lord, yk, Walkman full of 80s Music Starlord???

On top of this her powers are just boring as well, she has ice powers but never does anything cool with them, compared to other Cryomancers in fiction like, Sub Zero or Iceman

Back to game stuff for a second, why does she get a skate? whys she allowed to move faster than any other support for zero reason??

as a character shes just happy go lucky, which sucks because I think there could be an interesting take on her regarding how K-Pop Idols are often overworked/taken advantage of by managers or having to deal with stress from being on a pedestal, THIS is not a thing though because interesting characters aren't allowed I guess

Around two months ago, I started collecting comic books because I realized that the MCU kinda sucks at adapting them, And just in general, I've heard DC has a really strong comic game, especially nowadays. So I've decided to start collecting volumes of DC and the compact collection. I love the compact collection. It's got great stories for each character, and I would say I'd generally a really good starting point for getting to know them!

Every time I get to Marvel's though, it's weird because the Premier Collections have really all selections, like the winter soldier comic which I barely see talked about even nowadays regardless of how popular the movie was, and Hawkeye: my life as a weapon.

This being said recently they came out with World War Hulk which is apparently a very good run, but then I look around and I see Fantastic Four: solve everything.

Now I'm a big fan of the story, but at the same time I don't think it's an amazing book to turn into a premier, especially for people who are starting out reading these books. (I think its quite loaded/heavy for a first F4 book, Id know this because it was my first F4 Book lol.)

On top of that, I think there was a better one to choose for the first time reading for a fantastic Four book. It's a little confusing. And on top of that, they released Spider-Men, Worlds Collide

Which is really weird because as far as I know the run is decent, but how did this take priority over a solo player or solo player? I think that would have been better, especially individually for Peter, and the worst part to me is they haven't done Extremis??? You know the story that inspired MCU Iron Man? The last time this book was printed was... I can't even find its last printing!

I'm not criticizing Marvel for this selection. I think that selection is a fine. But I do feel like there's a bit more priority to be taken with some other stories which feel like better introductions or just more iconic stories to the character. I don't think Kraven's last hunt needs to be a premier because Kraven's last hunt already fits into a regular volume collection. But again, it feels really weird and random

This being said, they are doing secret wars which I will pick up and finally doing some X-Men stuff, which is kind of crazy to me because the X-Men have just a smorgasbord of runs to pick from, On top of this, if you go to the website, it doesn't list all of the books we had. I picked up a copy of Spider-Man World's Collide today, but I looked on the website and it's not there. It doesn't exist on Marvel's very own website. Not in the upcoming and not even in the currently existing ones.

Edit: I decided to do some bonus research and check the Marvel premiere Wikipedia page.

And it lists a bunch of comics that have not even been released on the actual website.

Extremis is confirmed to come out next year and, Kravens Last Hunt, is also confirmed to be turned into a premiere collection.

Most of these have made my complaints invalid, but at the same time,The fact that these runs were not done earlier is a little bit confusing to me.

I get it probably better to do the ones we got to test the waters, but also I'm still just a little confused.

im 19 and recently decided to get a perscription after my last 4 rounds of meds didnt work for my PTSD

and I was wondering if there was any beginner advice that my doctor may have left out, he covered the Dry Flower Vaporizers and advised I buy a midrange one around 160$

he also gave me some CBD for daily use and Kind Azure for "a small vacation" his words not mine

So long story short I don't really work often and I've been trying to save up the money from work to buy a steam frame but at this point I'm afraid of missing out at a launch price, and I've basically realized valve was trying to push the fact that it does flat games extremely well and since I don't really use my steam deck for big AAA games and mostly for games I'd play with a controller I was wondering if you guys would think it was viable to sell my deck for a frame, currently I have roughly 300 bucks saved up Australia and I think I can get an extra 800 bucks (I know the msrp is like 950 Australian dollars right now but at the same time it's like, why not sell it to someone at the price it was when that's all I need), sir overall I'm pretty sure 1100 should be able to cover it, and again the most demanding game I think I've been playing on it is Batman Arkham City, and I've been looking to also grab just a new VR headset since I sold my reverb G2 so I was wondering if you guys thought that in terms of performance and other such things it would be worth selling so I could have something to play my flat games on and something to play my VR games on

I know a lot of people have been very heated over the no killing fish debate, which is very fair I think it's a very open topic that even the developers have acknowledged could be subject to change, and I enjoy seeing people's takes on it (until they start making it political and weird)

What I don't enjoy seeing, as someone who's pretty active on the discord, is people actively coming into the server and trying to threaten them

In the last few days I've seen a bunch of people online and even in the server directly try to message and get the attention of the developer who made the statement about playing a different game, and honestly it's quite disgusting

There's an entire reason that the developers have such an open communication channel and that's to give active feedback regarding gameplay and the future of development, some people take this however as an easy excuse and an easy route to go harass people, if you do this you are a jerk and you are a part of the problem

The entire debate about the fish being immortal is Up For debate, I've heard this from other developers in the server, some of them who agree that the entire state of the fish being unkillable is something that is subject to change, especially considering how this is the first public release of the game, they haven't even had time to make changes, so it's important that people keep their cool and understand that directly harassing them is not the solution

the developers openly communicate with the community of their own volition, they don't have to if they don't want to but they are given the opportunity to, and those who do want to, can engage freely, and there are people who have been saying that the solution to this is a PR manager, which is not the answer to a situation like this, the entire point is raw Community discussion, not filtered through a single person who can't hear everything the fans have to say.

Hi everyone I'm making this post because a lot of people have been coming around the discord and asking the same question so I thought if I just post this with all the info we have available maybe it might lessen the amount of people

When is the game coming out? - May 14th 8am PDT/May 15th 1am AEST

What's the Price? - 30 USD, and it will be adjusted Per region

Is it cross platform? - starting day 1 the game will be multiplayer and cross-platform

What consoles is it coming out for? - the game is coming out for PC, via epic games, steam and the windows store, and for as Xbox well, Xbox players can play with PC players regardless of where the game was bought on PC, unfortunately since Sony doesn't have an early access program the game will not be available until full release, until further notice

Why should I buy the game now? - the developers want people to buy early access to give feedback on the game as a whole and what to do in the next updates, early access is not intended for finding and fixing bugs it is intended for shaping how the game plays as we go forward on the road to full release, also the game is going to be cheaper with it getting a price increase when the game comes out fully in two to three years

Do I keep the game once it releases fully? - yes you do get to keep the game once full release happens, the devs just sell the game cheaper at early access with the price increase coming later, you do not lose access at any point during your ownership of the game

Where's the Q&A? - so a lot of new information was revealed in a q&a hosted by The developers on the discord after the trailer released, information will be available once the video gets edited and released onto YouTube in due time

What's up with the reaper decoration? Why can't I find any official info about it? - from May 14th if you buy the game on the first week, you will be allowed access to a Reaper Leviathan decoration for your base, I believe the developers are putting up a post regarding it soon, it was officially announced during the Q&A, it is only available if you buy the game within the first week, and after that they are not selling it or anything

Can my PC run it? - the best way to answer this question is to go on to the steam page where if you go to the bottom it will have recommended specs for your computer, but just as a rule of thumb, if you do not have a dedicated graphics card, or if you just have a normal laptop you most likely will not be able to run it, the threshold for specs on this game are a lot higher than the first one, however the developers are working tirelessly to make the requirements easier on computers, with certain developers working on optimization for the game, I'd recommend you find out information about your computer from the settings and cross reference it with the steam page

What is that new submarine we see in the trailer? - it's actually not a new submarine but a new attachment for the tadpole chassis! It was confirmed to be able to haul extra resources, and in multiplayer allow you and two friends to ride around

Will the game be out for Mac or Linux? - I'm pretty sure the game will not be out for Mac because there's a lot of different factors going into it, but there will be no dedicated Linux version, however the developers have said using proton runs the game perfectly fine, which they say from experience as multiple developers use Linux as a dedicated operating system and have been playing / testing the game on the steam deck as well as other handhelds

When can we preorder the game? - The developers have said that they're not doing pre-orders, and that when the game is out you just go ahead and buy it

Will there be DLSS/FSR Support? - DLSS is confirmed while FSR is being worked on

Will there be proximity chat? - unfortunately no... But it is coming in a later update, many devs understand the potential of it and have decided to implement it in a future update

Is there going to be a big submarine? - not in early access one however down the line once they figure everything out they will be adding it

Does the character speak and who do we play as? - The developers have confirmed in the Q&A that the player character is a silent protagonist, and that we will have a choice between many different player models with more to be added, they've also confirmed none of them are the canon player character everyone exists technically as the same person, think a bit of how Riley was a nameless person in the first game, it's basically just that but now we have a choice of what we look like

Will the game use AI? - I find this one a bit obvious, the game will use no generative AI of any sorts, delete developers of the game and the higher ups at unknown worlds have constantly stated they're not using generative AI voices or artwork or models at all, they have hired voice actors for the PDA and all characters you'll see in the game, and the publisher cannot force them to use AI
