Perfect shade of white for this, also conveniently has extra blue squares on the sides. Perfect UN Sherman?
"For Stalin" decal rotated and mirrored + Blue Italian Armoured insignia if you want to recreate it. A part of the text will spill over the sides so you will need to use placement + decorations to make it look convincing.
The AC.IV was cancelled before it even got past the design stage, the closest thing built was an AC.I with a specialized turret and 17pdr installed called A.C.E1 for testing. The A.C.IV design in game is based off a paper drawing depicting the E1's turret mounted on the hull used the the A.C.III Thunderbolt.
It's pretty dumb that the actual (and only) Australian tank to meet production (A.C.I) is stuck in unobtanium hell while this tank which wasn't even finalized before it was cancelled is still readily available. Our Ausbros deserve better.
A simple fix for this is just to turn A.C.IV into the actually real A.C.E1 which even survives today, the original hull wouldn't even be much weaker so it's not even a crazy nerf.
This whole thing even has a Wikipedia page dedicated to it, the info is very much available that this isn't a real tank. Even World of Tanks depicted the A.C.E1 correctly.
I'm not asking for it to be outright removed, just swapped with the real tank. That's all!
Battlefront has never had a dedicated "medic" class, instead we have the Officer and Engineer for our dedicated support options and I've been wondering what's the better class from a support standpoint?
Of course Engineer wins in the sheer combat debate, the 1 tapping shotgun and det-packs completely nuke infantry and vehicles alike making him the strongest even out of the base 2005 roster. From a dedicated support stance he's still pretty good, health/ammo packs are always helpful and being able to repair vehicles is a big win for how important vehicles were in the 2005 game.
My main problem with the 2017 Officer is that he has no reliable healing options, the only option he has is for burst healing is the Battle Command which has a long cooldown. Officer's Presence Star Card is a very handy passive buff to all allies. The auto-turret has never been that helpful to me but the Squad Shield is good when you know when/how to use it.
Officer is way more passive compared to Engineer, not that it's a bad thing. What I've learned by writing this is that we really need a proper Medic class the next Battlefront.
Was bored so I built this in an hour, turned out better than it should've somehow.
Built tough 66 million years ago, why improve upon nature's perfection?
The idea for a Kugelblitz-esque design is not mine, it comes from this this video.
Main concept is that it's mostly an anti-air vehicle shooting down low-flying Starfighters but this thing shreds about anything. Better than the TIE Crawler? Undoubtedly. Still a reasonable design? Eh, not really.
What would you name it? I've been lovingly calling it the TIE-gelblitz but TIE-F-V also works.
There's not enough people glazing this tank so I'm going to start, it's just really good.
Ever wanted a Leopard 2 with no turret basket or depression blindspots? Well here it is! The Vickers Mk.7 is the unsung hero of the (already amazing) 10.7 British lineup.
Bar some caveats this can be considered a better Leopard 2A4, better lineup, better pen and a better damage model.
Main weaknesses is that the turret is overall weaker and the ammo stowage leaves a lot to be desired. 3 round ready rack (Same as the Challenger) can be rough in CQB engagements and there's no blowout panels to protect from ammo shots.
And the lineup is STACKED. Challenger 1, Bhishma, Vickers Mk.7, Boxer Block 2, Hawk 200, (G)-Lynx and a multinational anti-air of your choice.
I bring this fella up to supplement my 11.7 lineup for when I need to rush the enemy fast and hard as the Challenger 2's don't cut it, frankly it works great.
So take this post as a sign to take this old girl out to grind for the SEPV3 this week. The lineup is a fun time.
What good is APCs if we can't fill them with soldiers? Some Eastern Bloc fellas would also be welcome to go with the BMP. Also a good opportunity to include some accessories like flags and modern kit so we can personalize our armies.
I loved reading the classic Clone Wars comics as a kid and this story would always make me sad. I hope this B1 is having a good life with his new owners and RIP his B2 buddy.
Turret baskets on Challenger 2s despite more proof against a turret basket? We were this close to a good British update and they bummed it up. :(
Despite having countless hours in the 2nd game I never got to try out Titanfall 1 mostly because it was an Xbox exclusive and is nowadays delisted. I found it at the thrift store and had to pick it up. It's a cool novelty!
The code inside bugs out in the EA App so I'll need to get a disk drive and do it the old fashioned way to get the game working.
With APS likely being the main selling point for Rank IX Ground and CAS constantly dominating at top tier should APS be able to be replenished in the field? As it is right now APS can only be recharged at capture points which comes with some main flaws, ie; single cap modes, tiny maps and the fact it replenishes slow as balls.
With helos being able to carry as much as 16 F&F missiles there should be a way more solid counter to it beyond J'ing out and the game devolving into ARB within 5 minutes.
(Also say hi to my chud sons, their names are Timothy and Cheeseball)
No or very little gun traverse, every gun is attached BELOW the hull so you can't fire over cover, the only crewmember is directly out in the open with only a thin glass panel protecting them and field of view is limited by the massive tracks.
This truly is the worst tank ever created.
