Anthem/CarelonRx - Refill Eligibility and Delivery Timetables

We have been experencing issues with getting my son's medication refilled in a timely manner. The issue is that CarelonRx has a refill eligibility date that is basically when his supply is exhausted. The problem is that it can take from 7 - 15 days for the refill to be shipped and eventually delivered. This makes no sense. They have basically built a system that guarantees that folks will go without their meds waiting on CarelonRx to deliver the refill.

Yes, we can use our local CVS, but that means he needs to move to a 30 day schedule, which is not only a hassle, but it costs him more in co-pays.

Does anyone know if there is a way for CarelonRx to start processing the refill sooner? As long as he gets the refill delivered after the eligibility date, that should meet the FDA's rules.

Rain Sensor Recommendations

I don't want to spend the money for a PWS, but I think a quality rain sensor is in order. I have one of the old school models that rely on rainfall swelling felt disks inside the unit which, conceptually, swell enough to close the circuit and signal the controller not to run. It rarely works.

Any suggestions on a rain gauge that you use and like?

Wallpaper Download Hack?

Has anyone come across a hack that would allow us to download (sideload) our own wallpaper on our Santa Fe? There currently isn't an OEM way to do this.

I have a 2026 Hybrid Calligraphy.

Weird Digital Key Issue

Following the last OTA update, I have been having a problem with using my phone as my Digital Key. Sometimes it works and other times not. Restarting my phone usually resolved the issue - for a few days.

Because rebooting the phone will make the Digital Key behave for a few days, I would think it was the phone - but - this behavior started right after the last OTA update.

I am running Google Pixel 8 and Android CinnamonBun and the April 5th update.

The last Santa Fe OTA update was just navigation.

Anyone else experienced this?

Heat Wave Boost Question

This may or may not apply to heatwave boost, but that seems to be the only one that's temperature dependent.

I have one zone in our lawn that is where there's a large shale formation under ground. This area also gets a lot of direct sun. As you can imagine the shale gets hot and the grass kind of bakes from above and below.

My irrigation guy suggested that I set up a periodic schedule for the hot part of the day to run for a bit to cool off the grass.

Ideally, I'd like to hit that zone in mid-day only when the temp is above 85° or not at all. The Heat Wave Boost only seems to work against an already existing schedule, adding "X%" based on temp. I tried that last year and it really wasn't all that effective. I ended up running a manual schedule for those hot days.

I currently run flex daily with fully configured advanced zone info and it runs perfectly.

I'm wondering if anybody has figured out a way to kind of 'game the system" to see if you can achieve something like I'm looking for.

Milorganite Alternatives??

I went to Home Depot online to order some Milo for the spring, and noticed that it could only be delivered, it was not available for pickup. After some research, it seems that our state passed a law late 2025 to ban the sale and use of Milo within the state, specifically because it may contain trace amounts of PFAS. I find it interesting that they're willing to ship it to me, however.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an alternative for this product? It's been a mainstay in my annual lawn maintenance program, so I hate to lose it.

I read where some of the Milo knockoffs tend to underperform the OEM product.

Any suggestions you may have would be helpful.

Matte Paint Dealer Created Issues

I purchased a new 2026 SF Hybrid Calligraphy with Brass Matte Paint. The dealer included Zurich protective coating. While I didn't ask, I assumed that this product was okay to apply to matte paint.

As the weather has improved, I noticed that the hood appears a little bit shiny. So the finish is more satin than not. I recently parked next to a SF model with the same paint scheme, and there was a noticeable difference.

Out of curiosity, I called the Zurich customer service line (general number), after getting bounced to a few different folks, I ended up speaking to someone who was able to answer my question. I asked them "Is the dealer applied Zurich Protection product approved for matte paint?" Their answer was that, "while their product can be applied to any car, it is not recommended for matte paint because it will alter the appearance." Zurich told me that there is no way to remove the product once it's applied.

I reached out to the dealer and let them know that I think Zurich coding has changed the look of the matte paint and that I want to work with them on a resolution. I am sure they are thinking "Oh, s**t!"

I don't think this was malicious, I think out of habit the salesman just had these upsell items and no one put 2+2 together. My car has around 1,200 mi on it, so it's new (kinda). A fair resolution would be to allow me to swap my vehicle with one that has not been coated. I doubt they want to do that.

Has anyone run into a similar situation? I'd be curious how it got resolved if at all.

A reasonable question is: "Could I live with it?" Probably but it will bug me every time I'm in the car.

Hi,

I am working on creating a Landscaping activity task table and I had a question about a time dependency between two related tasks. In this case, I need to apply "Lawn Treatment A" at a given point in time and "Lawn Treatment B" six weeks there after.

At the moment, I have these set up as recurring tasks with specific trigger dates - pertty manual. I am hoping that there is a why that I set the date for task "B" to be set automatically to be 6 weeks after "A." Ideally, the "six weeks" date would be updated once task "A" is marked complete, since it's when I put down the treatment that is the driver.

  1. Can I do this easily without resorting to a formula?

  2. If I need to use a formula, does anyone have a sample?

Thanks in advance.

Has anyone put together some type of features/capabilities crosswalk that can help folks move more easily from the Cox DVR to YTTV? My Mrs. is having a hard time with the change.
