Pretty good Staples haul!

Pretty good Staples haul!

I don't check the Staples dumpster near me all that often, but today turned out to be a great haul!

I found two boxes of Swiss Miss kcups, and a bunch of different candy! (I passed up on the chocolate candy bars that were in there, since it was over 80° out, and they were all soupy 😆)

I did however take almost all the sour Skittles, sour patch kids, and nerds clusters, and told another diver buddy about it, so he's hopefully going to get the rest of it!

I also took all the gum that was in there, so I think I'll be good on gum for the next few months 😂😂😂

How it feels when a group of raiders wander to where your Old Atom Coupe is, and blow it up, knowing you had a bunch of stuff in its storage: (The Wasteland)

Pro tip for everyone who shops at CVS.

For those who shop at CVS, and have an ExtraCare card, this tip is for you: Whenever you receive a coupon that say "$x off entire purchase", those coupons are effectively ExtraBucks with a different name. If you look at my receipt, the total I would've paid for the six 1L bottles of pop WOULD'VE been $11.79, but after applying my monthly $10 ExtraCare Plus bucks, the negligible 4¢ in ExtraCare Bucks, and the $1 off entire purchase coupon, I saved over 97% from using all three coupons at check-out, and walked away with everything for effectively the price of a 5 piece pack of Doublemint gum.

An interesting "Toilet World" dream, that I vaguely remember being part of a shoddy truck stop.

I had Gemini recreate these parts of the dream, and although they're not 100% true to what I saw, it's kinda close.

So, I was born and raised in a Christian household and believed in God, butI definitely wasn't living for Him. grew up in a Pentecostal family and almost all my family has gone to the same AOG church since before was born and are active in ministry and my mom used to go there for the longest time and ended up leaving due to personal reasons and just wasn't forced to go to church, but was still taught to believe in Jesus. But, one night, I was visited by an angel in a dream and woke up feeling a love I never experienced before, a few months passed and my aunt called my mom and asked if was interested in getting involved in her church's youth group that night and I ended up going and then that following year, I got baptized in July and have been walking with Jesus ever since.

I just celebrated 10 years with Jesus in July of 2024!

Rate my base (Modded - The Wasteland)

In it's current state, this probably took me close to 24 or so hours, non-consecutive, to build it.

Of course, that doesn't include the countless hours I spent roaming around the map, looting, killing zombies/raiders, and doing quests for Trader Rekt (Whom I've been tempted to shoot in the face more than a few times, since he's a smug POS, even though I've bought and sold from him more times than I would've liked to.)

Overall, I am pretty satisfied with it. I've still got to finish placing iron bars in front of my house, and cleaning up any unnecessary iron spikes I placed down early on, as well as finishing up the main floor, and basement, which I intend to either move all my storage into, or furnish it into a living space, which honestly, I might end up doing, cause I don't feel like moving all of my stuff into the basement XD.

But yep, I think she's cozy!

Debating whether or not to shave it off

I just now realized my hair has been receding unbeknownst to me, and I've had my hair long for almost all my life (except my teen years, when I wore it short.)

I am 27 years old, going to be 28 in August, and I am a little heartbroken knowing that my hair will most likely be almost gone by the time I reach my mid thirties.

I am not entirely opposed to wearing it long, as long as I can (no pun intended), but in y'all's opinion, should I keep it going, or give my long hair an "early burial", so to speak?
