I have invited a friend, u/renji___ to visit/join/ and or share his crashed Interceptors with us here.

He's under no pressure or obligation, but I know our community would greatly benefit from direct access to his finds.

If he makes an appearance, please give him a warm r/oldmansky welcome and like and share his ships should he be so generous as to share them here.

The exchange, where he shares them all now, and would almost certainly continue to do so, is a fantastic resource, but is, by it's very size and scope, a bit of a chore to navigate and search sometimes.

Rules for posting here would be utterly relaxed just as it is for everyone here.

I thought our membership would be well served to have a little easier access to some of the best looking Sentinel Interceptors in the Cosmos, without having to search.

Let's hope he joins us and please show our appreciation for all that he has shared with the NMS community already (one of my very favorite ships was his discovery and I had the honor of finding a crash site with 4 connected supercharged slots) - it's a banger! Some of you might have already seen it, or might even be flying it 🙂

Technical_AD545 has withdrawn their system. These are the 5 members with the most compelling submittals, in the order most convenient to me while taking notes (no other reason).

I couldn't do a synopsis of each system justice, so you'll need to refer to the pinned discussion of possible Home-Systems for pictures and some of the merits of each system.

I suggest:

1. Take a long look at the pinned post with pics.

2. Note the member's user handle with the system you might most enjoy for an r/oldmansky home-system.

3. Return to this post and Vote Here, please and thank you!

Some of the features you may wish to consider:

Number, variety, and qualities of planets

Galaxy (if specified)

Shadow Star System (or not)

Can we quickly decide upon a 1st Station for our Alliance, or do we need to put that to a poll as well?

I think it doesn't much matter which is first, so long as it is appropriately titled. Get back to me with a proposal! :)

Suggestion: Don't start in Odyalutai as it will be the most difficult for people to link to. Euclid would be a wise starting point, imo.

Polling has been discontinued as The Grey Council is the defacto winner of the r/oldmansky Alliance naming poll. Explore and Unite!

The polling results seem to be slowing, although there are only 119 votes. The margin for The Grey Council (50 votes) over the GOOL (36 votes) seems substantial to me.

The poll could last another 22 hours. Does it need to?
