Location: Texas.

I was in an accident late Thursday night (Friday morning), where it was dark and I ran over a median and most likely totaled my car. I didn’t hit any poles or signs, and there were no other vehicles or people involved. At this point, my car was off to the side of the road, and to my best memory, not impeding any other traffic.

After the accident, I was obviously quite panicked and called my ex-girlfriend to see what I should do. She suggest I call a towing company and get my car removed. After not reaching any towing companies for about 30 minutes, I got an uber and headed home and would deal with it in the morning. Well, Friday morning comes and I realize my car has been impounded and with a police hold on it.

I called the officer in charge of the case and he said I need to meet him at the station to receive a citation for leaving the scene of an accident and then I should get the impound hold removed. I wasn’t able to meet him early enough that day and by the time I had gotten there he was already gone for the weekend. I’m supposed to meet with him tomorrow morning, but I guess I’m just wondering: how serious is this? Am I in a lot of trouble?

I went to watch it the other day and cannot find it, only a reloaded version by another channel.

I was able to get my Post 9/11 GI Bill back through the VR&E’s Retroactive Induction process. I currently hold a BA in Criminal Justice and am hating my life while working in juvenile corrections. I’ve come to the realization that I do not want to do state/federal government work. Or at least I don’t think I want to.

I’m interested in pursuing an ABSN, but I see some stories here and there that make me second guess myself. I really don’t want to feel like I wasted my GI Bill again… Does anyone have any advice?

I’m a veteran and have a bachelor’s degree. I’m looking to go back to school part-time, but I’m currently in a super demanding job. I’m looking to transition to something that is a bit more manageable. Does anyone know of anything?

Background: Spent 4 years active as a 14T, got out and got my Bachelor’s. Currently 26 and VA rated at 90%.

Not sure why, but I’ve been missing the army a lot lately and have been thinking about maybe rejoining as an officer. Why, or why is this not a terrible idea? National Guard/Reserves? Am I retarded?
