Emergency Appeal for 80+ Rescued Cats & Dogs in Ajman - please help us

We honestly never thought we’d reach this point again, but we’re struggling badly and need help keeping our rescue shelter in Ajman running for another month or two just until we can find a way to fix our finances

We currently care for 80+ rescued cats and 4 dogs, many abandoned, injured, sick, or rescued from unsafe situations.

Our business was the only source of income supporting the shelter, but since the start of the conflict in the region, business has completely collapsed and we’ve been trying to survive month by month while still caring for the animals.

Right now we’re struggling with:
• Almost 14,000 AED in shelter rent for the month of May & June
• Food and litter costs
• Nearly 30,000 AED in vet bills

Meet Malika 🖤

A tiny, sweet tortie kitten currently in foster care, but her owner is planning to release her back onto the streets. She is still very small and vulnerable and likely will not survive outside.

She is:

* Very gentle and affectionate
* Tiny kitten age
* Safe indoors right now
* In urgent need of a foster or forever home

Update: We now only need 700 AED to keep our shelter (80+ cats & 4 dogs in Ajman)

Hi everyone,

Just a small update — thanks to some really kind people, we’ve managed to raise most of the amount we needed so far, and we’re honestly so grateful 🤍

We’re still trying to cover our overdue rent to keep our small rescue shelter running here in Ajman. This is home to 80+ rescued cats and 4 dogs, many of them abandoned or rescued from difficult situations.

Right now, we:

• Still need 700 AED to cover rent

• Are dealing with ongoing vet bills (around 30,000 AED)

• Are doing everything we can daily to keep the animals safe and cared for

If we’re able to raise anything beyond the rent, it will go directly toward vet bills and medical care.

We found this cat in Ajman City Center parking, he was barely alive.

He was extremely weak, covered in wounds, and had already lost his tail. Honestly, it didn’t look like he would make it. Some suggested just leaving him in the colony… but we couldn’t walk away.

We took him in, got him treated, and slowly he started to recover.

Now he’s a completely different cat.

We named him Phoenix 🐦‍🔥🐦‍🔥because that’s exactly what he did. He came back from something that should have ended him.

He’s gentle, calm, and just wants a safe place to exist.

✔️ FIV/FELV negative

✔️ Fully vaccinated

✔️ Neutered

We’re currently looking for a home for him in the UAE. If anyone is interested in adopting, or even just sharing his story, it would mean a lot.

I just wanted to share a small update and say thank you, because of kind people here, we’ve managed to raise 2,500 AED so far. We’re incredibly grateful. 🤍

But we’re not out of danger yet.

We still need around 1,500 AED to cover our overdue rent and avoid losing our shelter in Ajman. This place is home to 80+ rescued cats and 4 dogs, many of them abandoned, sick, or rescued from the streets. They fully depend on us for food, safety, and medical care.

Right now, we are:

•	Struggling with ongoing vet bills we currently have (30,000 debt with our vet)

We’re in a really difficult situation right now because of what is happening in the middle east and urgently need help.

We’re based in the UAE and currently caring for around 80 cats and 4 dogs, but we have basically no income since the conflict started. We’re struggling to afford food, litter, and even rent, and we’re at risk of losing our home.

Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because we are in a really difficult situation and don’t know where else to turn.

We are currently caring for 80 cats and 4 dogs, and since the recent conflict started, we’ve basically lost our income. Right now, we are struggling to afford even the most basic necessities — cat food, dog food, and litter.

We are also falling behind on rent, and the situation is becoming overwhelming. Our priority is keeping the animals fed, safe, and cared for, but we genuinely cannot do this alone anymore.
