Can I submit my undergrad application without any of my recommendation letters being completed?

The title pretty much sums it up. I’m a senior in high school, and Texas Tech was my first choice for application. My application is done other than my letters. Will Common App automatically update my submission if the letters are finished and submitted later? I reached out to an TTU admissions officer, as well as my school counselor, but neither have. I also can’t find a solid answer online.

The title pretty much sums it up. I’m done with my application, but none of my recommendation letters/counselor stuff is done yet. Do I have to wait for them all to be finished writing before I submit I’ve been told to ”submit your application ASAP,” but it’s going to be probably a month before all of my recommendation letters are submitted… help!

Grammarly keeps charging my card for a free trial I cancelled

Hey,

My fiance and I use the same laptop for work. He downloaded Grammarly and created a free trial with my google account and card. I got an email about it, so I reprimanded him and canceled it maybe an hour later.

This must've happened a week ago. Since then, I have been getting attempted charges on my card from Grammarly for 153.50?? I logged back into the account that my fiance made to see if we accidentally had a payment plan going, but we didn't. I deleted the Grammarly account, but I am still getting notifications for them charging me. I checked all of my other emails too to make sure I didn't have any other account, but I don't.

I called my bank and they closed my card just in case this was something fradulent, but I'm wondering if this has happened to anyone else?? It says that my card was also declined for “insufficient funds,” but I definitely have more than 153.50 on my account lol.

Intense cramping after workout. Almost unbearable.

Hello. School is starting back up again, which means that all of the sports and extracurriculars are getting back into routine.

I will admit that I am not a very active person. I work on my feet, and I walk occasionally on the treadmill when I feel gross, but I don’t go to the gym or anything. I’m a short and slightly bigger woman, 5’1 and 140lbs. I eat pretty healthy despite my figure lol.

I’m in the marching band, and we started band camp earlier this week. Outside marching under the Texas heat for 4 hours is hard, but it’s bearable. Since I’ve been pretty inactive over the summer, it’s definitely been a bit harder for me, but I usually get into the groove after a few weeks and I can handle all of the work just fine.

That being said, ever since band camp started, I have been having horrible cramps later in the evening. For example, we end practice at 2, and once I’m cozy in bed at 6, my stomach is KILLING me! It feels like period pain but I’m not bleeding. I’ve never experienced this kind of pain before. I take birth control and other medication for my acne, but I’ve never experienced any side effects other than the weight gain.

Any ideas? Is there any science behind whatever this is? any tips or comments appreciated.

Citations in an admissions essay???

Hi. I apologize if this is a silly question. I am writing my personal college admissions essay about Stendhal syndrome, and I want to include a thorough definition of what that is. Do I need to cite said definition in my college admissions essay?? It feels silly to cite Merriam-Webster in my personal statement but I don’t know. would I get in trouble if I didn’t?

Can’t come without extreme stimulation. Now do I stop?

Hi. F24 and I cant come without my vibrator in one hand and porn in the other. I have never had an issue with it, but it is making my boyfriend feel insecure, and it makes me feel a bit unhealthy. How can I start weening off the vibrator? Am I too far gone? I tried getting off with my hands today but it was a pain in the ass and it honestly hurt a bit. I remember I could come easily with my fingers before I got a vibrator.

Coworker is going to basic training this weekend. Can I gift her anything meaningful that she can take with her during her 9 weeks?

hello! the title is pretty self explanatory. a friend of mine is leaving for basic in Chicago soon, and I’m wondering what I can give her that she is allowed to take in. I know they are really strict on what they can and can’t have, so I figured I’d ask before going all out and making her a little gift basket lol. any help appreciated.

Fostering Pregnant Cat! Tips Needed!

Hello!

My grandma lives on a farm in central texas, and she has a ton of farm cats running around. one of them ended up getting pregnant, and my grandma is not in good shape to take care of her, so my mother had decided to drive 8 hours to go pick her up and bring her home so we can foster her.

I have grown up with cats my entire life, but we have never dealt with a pregnant cat before. I am a bit worried. My grandma said that the vet estimates that the cat will give birth in less than a week to 4-6 kittens.

I am also worried that the cat will be anxious. She is essentially being dropped into a completely new home by herself and giving birth in a completely new environment.

We have two other male cats, ages 1 and 10, both neutered.

I am sure I can google all the information I need, but I would prefer to hear from experienced cat owners. How can I keep this new kitty and her kittens comfortable? How will the birthing process go? How should I prepare? Any tips would be helpful. thank you
