When did u know it was worth relocating?

Just working my dusty ass job, no plans to up and quit. Well I will, but not today. It got me thinking about those in all mediums of writing (particularly screenwriting), and the moment they made the leap of faith.

I’m not asking when did u have enough money or when did you get “good enough”. I want to know when you knew based on your environment, your network of ppl you knew, your general output of work, the hours you’ve practiced etc. When did you go “ya know… it might be that time. Nothings guaranteed but these signs point to me putting myself in a new environment with new faces to really make this thing work.

I feel it now kinda but I know I’m not there yet. I have no support system to help me with this kind of thing. Give your words of wisdom to a small town boy🔮🧙‍♂️

Edit: this post is not about LA🤣 I do have projects being prepped in San Diego but I don’t intend in moving there

Who let Bailey cook

Man confessions Reddit stories had me excited then they made the mistake of prefacing with “Bailey said this is gonna be crazy”

*talks about cake for 25 minutes*

A guy wants to be a streamer instead of keeping a job (so shocking in 2026)

A guy delusional ab someone wanting him at a bar (again super foreign concept…)

And the last one was ok ig.

Saw someone blame editing for dwelling on a segment too long but who chose the segment? Producers… Bailey… lol. They’ve been good before it’s just crazy and confusing that Confessions of ALL story subs were so disappointingly PG and didn’t feel like confessions at all

Cannot receive or send texts/calls to or from androids

This has happened before. Can’t text or call anyone unless you have an iPhone which is only thanks to apples iMessage and FT audio. Before I would turn my phone off then back on and receive a flood of texts from android numbers. Now though, that doesn’t even happen and I’m just shit outta luck. And my phone is updated. Also at work watching a video it would just buffer for like 5 min.

Essentially looks to me like my data straight up doesn’t work. Which is unlimited btw…

I’ve missed out on someone trying to reach out to give me food after a 12 hour shift and not being able to borrow a car for errands. All in 12 hours lol. I hate straight talk. All these posts about Customer service, and thinking about my own experience makes me wanna not bother and look into cricket. I’ve heard better things about them anyway.

Anyone else have this issue?
