Toshinori Yagi had been training as hard as could as possible with OFA ever since nana had given it to him...ever since her death against all for one. he was on the beach. it was nighttime and he was bench pressing 300,000 pounds of weight. he’d been doing it constantly alongside fighting villains.

“I have to get stronger! I have to make sure nothing like that ever happens again. nana, I swear, from this day forward till the day i put all for one away forever I will grow stronger. no one will EVER go through what I went through ever again.” he said to himself. tears slipping from his eyes, his heart and muscles pumping furiously. he was on his 99th rep when it happened. he’d miscalculated a rep and the bar slipped from his fingers.

he’d been in too heavy of an emotional state to think about having a spotter. not many heroes he knew of could really be a spotter for him either. seeing the weight coming down he prepared to move himself out of the way. It’d be awkward and would probably result in him tripping over himself but it was that or be crushed.

instead a single hand grabbed the bar as it came within a mere 8 inches of his tanktop covered chest. “whoa there! young man, aren’t you supposed to have a spotter when it comes to lifting weight this heavy?“ a voice said while putting the weight off to the side on sand. it sunk a little but not to much.

yagi sat up and looked at his savior who’d caught *300,000 pounds* with as much effort as one does a baseball. based off his silhouette he could tell he was a man. however his entire body and his head/face were covered by a red, blue ,and yellow cloak and hood. the only identifying features being a large black beard coming down from the hood and the deep blue eyes he had that practically shone in the dark.

”er, there arent many who can spot for me, plus I would’ve dodged that.” Yagi said awkwardly. ”it happens to the best of us. believe me, I know.” the stranger said. he then pulled out a bottle of water that had mist dropping off it. a clear sign of how could it was compared to the february night.

“waters your best friend when it comes to exercise. you should have some, fresh from the arctic circle.” the man said helpfully while offering the aforementioned bottle. Yagi, weary and thirsty as anyone would be (and having forgotten his own bottle) took the offered bottle without hesitation.

”so what brings you out here at 3 AM, lifting a weight like this all to your lonesome?” the man asked. He sat on rock as yagi drank the water. “I’m training for UA. I’m a student there and I’m trying to get stronger.“

“ah, a good thing to want indeed, but something tells me theres a weight in you heavier than that bench press you were trying earlier.“ the man replied.

Yagi, not wanting to give to much away simply nodded. “Someone very close to me passed away in a terrible manner. A villain attack. I want to grow stronger so no one else ever goes through that ever again.” Not a lie a at all. Nana had in fact been involved in a villain attack. A question then came across Yagis mind. “who are you? You remind me of someone I saw in America a long time ago.“ he questioned. “I’m just a helper, nothing to special really. I also recognize what it’s like to lose someone to something you couldn’t stop.”

“but how? I just don’t get it, we both have so much strength and yet it failed us both!” yagi said. “Strength means nothing in the face of old age and an old heart, found that out the hard with my old man. But he made sure to teach me that when something brings me down I need recognize what it was and keep going.” The stranger stood up and got ready to leave. Yagu felt those words sink in and felt the resonance with them.

“a word of advice young man, before you learn to be super in strength. Be super in your heart, then you’ll be a super man. muscles are great but having heart, humility, perseverance? Those are gems unlike any other. Also, have a spotter next time. It’s better for your health. And have proper form to do you don’t pull something.“

the man said before turning to leave. Yagi looked at the bottle. it was metal and blue with a red lid. and there on the side he saw a red diamond with a yellow inside with a large red S in the center. Curiosity tugged at his mind as he asked one last question.

“Mr., what does the S stand for?” Yagi asked.

“starman, it means hope. Keep it kid, you’ve earned it.”

yagi turned to see where the stranger went but he already gone.

years later Yagi would find a young man so much like him. One with so much potential to become a great hero.

one Izuku midoriya.

they sat in the living room as he recounted the story while holding the bottle. Still as pristine as the day he was given it.

”what does the S stand for Yagi-San?“ midoriya asked.

Yagi smiled. “Hope, it means hope for a better today and tomorrow. keep it young midoriya. as a reminder. Just like it was for me.”

he handed it over to him and he took it gently as if it were a priceless artifact. a sparkle in his eyes much like his own.

All might was proud of him. But toshinori yagi was even prouder.

*CRACK* *SNAP*

that was all that was heard as Izukus arms broke and resulted in compound fractures. the flopping ends fell off, revealing sharp and bloody bones dripping with blood. most would be howling in agony from the sheer pain of it all.

for Izuku? he felt none of that as he charged at the Nomu. trailing blood as he let off a warcry. Typically speaking for Nomu, they tend feel no fear. mainly because that’s been ripped out of them alongside other feelings.

still, seeing a 15 year old screeching his lungs out while using the exposed bones of his own arms to stab you like a crackhead on trigger would give anyone pause. And while the Nomu had a resistance to shock no one ever considered piercing.

Izuki made contact not long after and began stabbing the nomu as much as he could. The jagged ends of his fractured ulna and radius stabbing into its body over and over again. It grabbed at him with its hands and punched him in the stomach again and again. Izukus left arm regenerated in a flash of purple and he plunged his hand into himself and ripped out his rib (which also regenerated not to long after he did so) and stabbed the nomu in the brain.

to be sure he kept stabbing to make it went down. its grip eventually slackened and went limp. izuku was subsequently covered in the blackened blood that flowed through the Nomus veins. standing up he turned to Tomura who was slowly backing up.

the doors of the USJ flying open were what saved Tomura. taking his chance he want running like hell. “KUROGIRI! take me away from here!” The foggy villain didn’t even question it as he opened a portal and snatched up Tomura.

“have no fear! I am here!” All mights triumphant voice boomed. A smile on his face as he went about clearing the villains around the complex. Not too long after he found Izuku, who looked at him with a proud smile.

“hi all might.” He said happily waving his right arm which still had sharp bones sticking out. “Err, young midoriya, your arm!“ he exclaimed in concern for his pupil. And a concern That OFA was injuring him.

“it’s ok all might, see? all better.” Izuku replied as his arm grew regenerated in another purple flash.

his classmates who’d watched everything go down while assisting each other were slightly pale at the sight. they gained their color back seeing him regenerating.

“can’t wait for some katsudon after this.“ izuku said while wiping the blood off of himself.

“I don’t get paid enough for this, why God almighty is this problem child my student?” Aizawa muttered before going unconscious.…

post credit scene:

Izuku relaxed in his dorm, a long day gone by and the USJ incident having occured. The only severe injuries being to himself and Aizawa. Thankfully no death but he had no doubts that his classmates were a bit scarred at his display against the Nomu but he didn’t mind.

he sat on his bed and watched some TV, unbeknownst to him however, he had a visitor. he Was eating some popcorn while watching pacific rim when he felt a familiar biting sensation on his neck.

“peek-a-boo! Izu-kun!“ a girls voice said, her voice muffled against his neck and sending vibrations down his throat. He smiled at that as he looked and spotted his girlfriend.

Himiko Toga smiled at him, she but His neck a bit harder before releasing it. A love bite was her favorite way of saying hello to him. One he always welcomed. they‘d been friends since they were children. After izukus falling out with bakugo because he’d been bullying her the two had become thick as thieves. And eventually thick as lovers to, getting together in Izukus 6th grade year.

now she lived with him in his dorm. Technically she wasn’t supposed to but She didn’t care and neither did Izuku...Or anyone else really as long nothing *too crazy* went down behind closed doors. “I’m glad your safe babe, that Nomu thing was scary! I tried to get to you but I Was…stopped up on the side against some villain by myself.” She said playfully. He held her hands and gently pulled her to his side as she snuggled against him. “Did you atleast leave them mostly ok?” he questioned. She nodded in confirmation. While yes she still desired blood it wasn’t as bad considering that she could always get a pick-me up from Izuku in the form of drinking from him.

an agreement that they came to since she‘d very narrowly avoided hurting someone when they were younger but Izuku had offered himself instead and she’d obliged. Izuku could regenerate from practically everything they knew of. having some blood drawn on an occasion wasn’t anything. a Very mutually symbiotic (And healthily romantic) relationship indeed.

“you know what? How about we hop on some mario cart to de-toxify babe?” Izuku said while pulling out their controllers. a green one for him and a golden-red one for her.

“you know it! Don’t go crying when I kick your butt with a blue shell.” She said with a challenge shining in her eyes. “Your on!”

and so their day ended, merrily and with plenty of rounds of Mario kart.

this izuku was inspired by an idea of giving him Haviks powers from MK1 and the hairy frog from Africa. fun fact: the hair frog purposely broken its bones to make claws that it can fight with when threatened!

It’s a story about an ordinary man named Phillip Jameson who lives an ordinary life in the backcountry of Alaska. he likes the snow and quiet and just lives off the grid by himself and hunts well. Having quit his job to be a mountainman 12 years ago.

it gets upended one night when at his cabin and relaxing with his dog Howie that something comes crashing down.

In this case someone. A very big someone. It’s in his backyard near the river he finds a giantess who’s fallen from the skies above down to the Alaskan wilderness down below. She’s a storm giantess to be precise and is the daughter of the king of the storm giants who live in the skies. Her name is Erika stormwind and she has no clue where she is or what the earth is like having lived all her life in the clouds.

he helps heal her up the best he can and gets to know her while she heals. Talking to her about what its like to be human and she tells Him in turn what it’s like to be a storm giant. over the course of several months the two slowly fall in love. of course she wants to return home and offers him to come with her so she may return to her father with him at her side.

having no known family, wife, or kids of his own he doesn’t see the point in not going with her. The only thing he asks is if he can bring howie with him. To which she agrees having grown to love the hound.

and so the three of them travel into the sky together to meet her father.

a grand journey ensues with him having with the trio having to use their wits and skills to pass through the dangerous skies to find the king.

the journey takes so long both Philip and howie are extremely old by the time they get Erika home. Erik, not wanting the man and the dog who’ve loved her for so long to die begs her father to grant phillip and howie immortality so they can stay with her. She tells him everything that’s happened between her falling from the skies, meeting Phillip and howie and their great journey to bring her home.

the king is moved is by her story and out of respect for the small human (storm giants stand on average 85-100 feet tall) who did so much with such mortal lifespan. respects her request and grants it.

and the three of them live happily together.

humanity became a hive mind and yet still ended up befriending a bunch of various species. sure they’re chaotic but when they work as one it’s a sight to see.

…turns out that when 8 septillion minds work together to protect their friends It goes poorly for the hostile opponents. the weapons alone conjured by their thoughts are enough to leave scars on several galactic superclusters to this day.

I remember when they struck at the Noori (the Aggressors) and obliterated their military in all of mere minutes. I Even got my Null-rifle autographed by one of their Top military minds when he appeared at a conference in a synth body! I still have it to this day.
