I found this in my shrinp tank on the wall? what is it?
2 gold dojo loach
2 chocolate khuli loaches
1 banded khuli loach
1 missing banded khuli loach
1 dwarf banded khuli loach
2 gold zebra loach (gold yoyo loach)
1 petricola catfish
3 albino corydoras
2 peppered corydoras
1 female halfmoon betta
2 threadfin rainbowfish
1 longfin lemon blue eyed pleco
1 snow white bristlenose pleco
3 purple fin hillstream loaches
Ive been told that i need more of the petricolas but i cant find any and they are expensive, someone told me the fish in here will kill my betta? i know that i need more khuli loaches but no where seems to sell chocolate khulis and my LFS is out of banded right now and they basically have only ever sold the dwarf khulis once which i managed to get 1 of. Ive noticed my betta picking on my threadfin rainbowfish (which i planned on getting more of if i dont re home them) and if needed i have a second tank with a betta sorority in it which i could add this betta to. I have also been told i need 6 albino corys and 6 peppered because of them not being exactly the same. Ive also been told i need more dojo loaches and ive been told i dont need more. Ive also been told to get more yoyo loaches but for how big they get i dont know if i can but if i have to i can move them to my outside tank i mentioned earlier. Please let me know advice if you have any.
Ive noticed my female halfmoon betta picking on my 2 threadfin rainbowfish which i was planning on buying more but was told it would just stress the betta out if i did.
I have a female halfmoon betta in my tank and along with a pair female and male threadfin rainbowfish and i have seen the betta chasing the male and female but mostly picking on the male. Should i buy more threadfins (i know they need groups of multiples and will probably get more of them when i am paid next.)
What do you guys feed your hillstream loaches and how because my new ones dont seem interested in algae wafers that much and i was wondering what to feed them other than that and how.
I just bought these 3 purple hillstream loaches from my LFS and was wondering the gender.
I had a banded khuli loach who was around a normal size for a khuli and i dont think it coulf have been ate by a different fish and i check my filter. I checked evrrything in my tank and underneath them too. The other fish are
2 gold dojo loach
2 chocolate khuli loaches
1 banded khuli loach
1 missing banded khuli loach
1 dwarf banded khuli loach
2 gold zebra loach (gold yoyo loach)
1 petricola catfish
3 albino corydoras
2 peppered corydoras
1 female halfmoon betta
2 threadfin rainbowfish (added after went missing)
1 longfin lemon blue eyed pleco
1 snow white bristlenose pleco
None of them are over 3 inches except my dojo loaches are probably 3 or more
If anybody knows anything please let me know
I saw these little bugs jump ontop of the water in my tank? Are they harmful?
I got this guy yesterday and he looks different from my other banded khuli and i was wondering if hes a different type.
My hillstream was fine and had all color and then i came to look and he was dead with this white coloring
I have 2 yoyo loaches 1 hillstream loach 3 albino corydoras 1 new betta 1 new albino bristlenose pleco 1 longfin lemon blue eyed pleco and 4 nerite snails and i just added some driftwood and i found these fry in the tank at the top swimming around and was wondering if someone can id them? Also if i add then back to the tank will they get eaten?
Ive got a new 36 gallon bow front tank and there isnt any algae yet and i bought 4 nerite snails and one is escaping a bunch probably looking for food (what i heard) and ive got an 84 gallon outdoor pond with a lot of algae and i was wondering if it would be okay to add a small ammount just so the snails could eat it.
My smallest of 4 nerite snails is trying to escape my tank. It keeps ending up on top of the tank. I have 4 nerites 2 yoyo loaches 1 hillstream loach 3 albino corydoras a lemon pleco and a white pleco and a petricola catfish.
Ive got 4 nerite snails in my tank and the smallest one keeps trying to escape. I tested ammonia and it was 0 - 0.25 ppm.
