Another year, another tragedy. 😭😂
Tried covering the flower heads in a mesh bag to deter the squirrels. At this point, I feel like I’m growing them just for the squirrels.

Lots of little busy bees. I hope they watch out for the ambush bug that lives on the flower! 🌼
I inherited these from my father and I would love to get them cleaned up and restored if possible. Should I chance it and take them to a regular instrument repair shop? Do I need to find a specialist who really knows what they are doing? Should I just keep them in this condition?
Some kind of sweat bee on my coreopsis. I don’t see too many other kinds of bees visiting the coreopsis though.
Rocky Mountain Penstemon and a determined bee. Zone 6
Big breakfast caught on my sunflower. Good catch! Can you focus on the Japanese beetles instead though? 😂
Looks like a comfy spot! Where can I buy a carrot flower bed?
This year I’m trying black kat pumpkins, and my favorite, Jarrahdale. I have no pollination problems 😂
I only see honey bees all over this native. The bumbles are right next door enjoying the salvia, agastache, and penstemons.
But I can’t.

Y’all are amazing. 😂❤️❤️❤️ I have gotten my stuff from Etsy, Amazon, Wayfair, etc. I’ll keep adding to my collection.
Trying to figure out this plant in one of my garden beds. This is my “sure, why not” bed where I experiment with lots of different plants. Not sure if this is something I threw in here or an invader. I have a terrible habit of planting things and forgetting what they are.
I believe this is Salvia Mohavensis but could it be Salvia pachyphylla or rose sage?
Our dog loves to eat grass like it’s his job. Unfortunately for him, we have removed all grass from our property over the years. This is the only grass we have now. 😂 I grew it for him and he eats some every morning. Mountain West zone 6b
I had never seen a hummingbird in my yard until I planted this last year. Now, this guy comes back constantly. Slowly adding more and more things for the pollinators to enjoy. I can’t for the life of me remember the kind of Salvia this is though. Sorry. I have a terrible habit of planting things and forgetting what they are called.
