Weightlifting routine

Hi everyone,

I apologize if people have posted this before, but I haven't seen it. I am looking to mix up my weightlifting routine. I am wondering if anybody has recommendations for lifts and stretches that they have found particularly helpful for their tennis game. I am a 3.5 player and 37 years old, so I'm not going to the US Open anytime soon, but I'm looking for injury prevention and flexibility, as well as a little bit more power and explosiveness.

Hindrance

Hi everyone. I wanted to get your feedback on a match that I just played. It's important to me that I have good etiquette out there and make sure that everybody is having fun. I play 3.5 tennis. It's not that serious.

I have never called a hindrance on anybody in all of my years of playing tennis. I was playing league play tonight, and while I don't think it was intentional, my opponent was yelling things like "fuck me" and "god fucking damn it" on my backswing because he was mad about a soft center shot. It did, of course, distract my shot, and to me it was quite different than grunts or other things that you can't help. I let the first couple slide, but after it kept happening, I thought I kindly let him know that it was a hindrance and that you can’t speak during an opponents points. I still even conceded the point.

There were four more times that it happened that I gave him warnings and conceded the point before I eventually said that I'd like to replay the point if it happens again. He got mad at me for calling hindrance, and we ended up stopping the match at 4-4 after he decided to walk off. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. Is it safe to assume that the other guy was just having a bad day, or is it a party foul to call hindrance at the 3.5 level?

Accidental clover lawn

Anybody else get lucky and fall ass backwards into a clover lawn?

I purchased three acres two years ago. I want to remove the sod and plant clovers then but instead I was just very bad at mowing my lawn regularly.

Overwintering strategy

I wanted to do a poll, but apparently that’s not an option for us beeks in this community. I’ve heard so many different opinions about over wintering strategy. I’m a wrap with moisture board guy myself.

Comment below with your strategy. Tom comment wins :)

Apivar

Hi friends, thanks in advance for the input. I am a dumb dummy and I left my apivar on too long this spring. I took them off a few days ago but my bees are doing great and are ready for supers. I figured I would just add a super and let the bees have a super this winter, which might give them a better chance of making it through the winter. What do you all think?

Rural Minnesota, 3rd year.
