I suspect the strength of Omni will be in its ability to edit videos - supercut of examples from twitter

Google AI posted a thread of community Gemini Omni / Omni Flash demos, so I got codex to make me a supercut.

Gemini Omni model is out!

I made 4 videos and already hit the limit. The results honestly aren’t any better than VEO 3.1, and now my entire 5-hour usage window is gone 🙂. I can’t even use Gemini 3 Flash or 3.1 Pro anymore, even though I’m on the Pro plan.

When generating voices externally (ElevenLabs etc.) for video, how do make them sound less perfectly studio-recorded, so they fit into and feel more natural in the video?

I've tried some filters (high-pass etc.) but I've never found just the right combo, whether the video takes place indoors or outdoors.

considering Venice, worth it?

Hey there.

Is Venice actually worth it for NSFW video generation?

I'm currently paying for SuperGrok and honestly the moderation has become exhausting. Most generations either get blocked and hit weird rate limits.

What I want is pretty simple:

Short anime 2D NSFW clips

6 seconds it's ok for me

480p is fine, maybe occasional 720p generations, but honestly if 480p is more permissive/less moderated than 720p, I'm completely okay with sticking to 480p

Mostly i2v and image to image(NSFW).

So before I spend even more money, I wanted to ask people here:

Is Grok Imagine less censored than Grok.com currently?

Are there better alternatives on Venice besides Grok for anime i2i/editing and i2v and uncensored?

What other video generation models on Venice are good for anime and allow NSFW content with relatively low censorship?

Are refunds reliable when a generation gets rejected?

Which tier would you recommend for what I'm looking for? (Mainly image-to-video and image editing/i2i with minimal censorship.)

I understand it's more expensive, but honestly if it's significantly more permissive, I'm willing to pay for it.

Would love some real user experiences.

Upcoming Leaked Gemini Omni VS Nearly Shutting Down Sora 2

Hey everyone,

With all the hype around the leaked Gemini Omni video model, I wanted to see how it compares directly to OpenAI's Sora 2.

Just a quick heads up on Sora 2. It is currently closed off and only available through the API, and it is going to be shut down completely in the near future. I used the Bing Sora 2 video generator to make these comparison clips. I left the AI watermark on the Sora 2 generations on purpose so you can easily tell the difference between the two models at a glance.

To make the comparison as fair as possible, I tried to keep the prompts very similar to the leaked Gemini Omni videos I found on X.

Here are the sources for the original Gemini Omni clips:

https://x.com/i/status/2053824398503678108

https://x.com/i/status/2053718756799467735

https://x.com/i/status/2053857806374064496

Here are the prompts I used, in order of appearance:

1. The Spaghetti Scene "Create a scene with two men at a table seaside at an upscale restaurant on outdoor deck seating. They are at a circular table with a nice white table cloth, and all of the fancy accessories, all the spoons forks and knives, fancy napkins, centerpiece. One man is Distinguished: A mature African-American man in his 50s with a short beard and confident posture, wearing a tailored, sophisticated suit, the other is is friend, both approaching the table to eat a plate of spaghetti."

2. Anime Combat "High-energy anime combat scene in a vast meadow during sunset, featuring a black-haired boy with blue flaming markings delivering powerful punches and a kick to a stoic white-haired opponent, with dynamic blue energy effects and impact lines,"

3. Chalkboard Math Proof "A professor writes out a mathematical proof for trigonometric identities on a traditional chalkboard, explaining the step he is currently on in the equation."

Let me know which model you think handled the generations better in the comments!

Gemini Omni: New video model?

Anyone else get this pop up when opening the app for the first time? It’s been showing up every now and then the last few days. I don’t use video gen, but what makes this new model better? Or is it just a rebrand of Veo

New Model: Vidu Omni Video Pro (Seedance 2.0 rival!)

This just released on the website to paying members only. Really hot odd the presses, Vidu haven't even tweeted about it themselves yet. Lots of people posting examples on Twitter: https://x.com/search?q=Vidu%20Omni%20Video%20Pro&src=recent_search_click&f=media

Here's Grok Fast's summary of what people are saying about it on Twitter:

>Users are impressed with the quality — especially motion, character consistency, prompt adherence, camera work, and action scenes — but universally complain about the high credit cost. It's positioned as a premium/high-end option (often compared to or seen as competing with Seedance 2.0). Many call it "amazing" or "the best" for certain use cases, but note it's expensive for heavy use.

>Key Takeaways from Recent Posts

>Strengths:

>Excellent character consistency and dynamic action (fast movement, camera work, fights).

>Strong prompt following (sometimes better than alternatives for specific instructions like dialogue or actions).

>High-quality anime/cinematic output, with good physics and energy in scenes.

>Some users prefer it over Seedance 2.0 in early comparisons for visuals and certain behaviors.

>Weaknesses:

>Credit consumption is brutal: Examples include ~200 credits for 5 seconds, 600 for 15 seconds (or ~25 credits/sec at 720p, higher at 1080p). This makes it costly on standard plans.

>Can be rigid if prompts aren't detailed enough (won't always improvise motion).

Guys, guess what?! it's not gone completely

(i do not know how to tag this) I found that in the Bing AI image generator's video feature, if you set it to standard, it will generate a video with Sora 2! it's not gone! We are so back!
