Must have core skill?

I come from a rts background where basically if you were able to just spend your resources (good macro) means that you can climb the ladder quite far as a lot of players in the lower ranks lack this mechanical skill and no matter what their knowledge of the meta is you simply overwhelm them with a bigger army.

In overwatch however I struggle to find such a core skill that is absolutely crucial. Is there even such a thing? Is it basically aiming or there is something more important that when learned can carry you in the lower ranks?

Human builds?

I haven’t played Druid a lot and I was wondering if this class is all about the bear/wolf or there are some builds that let you remain in human form and are viable?
